One of my favourite places is Bur Dubai, a historic district located on the western side of the Dubai Creek. I particularly enjoy walking around the Al Fahidi Historical District (also known as Al Bastakiya). One of my favourite places there is the XVA Art Hotel, home to a courtyard cafe-restaurant, perfect for breakfast or lunch. It is reasonably priced (I paid 50 AED, approx. £10, for a soup and an iced coffee) and ideal for remote working. There is a gallery on site, as well as a small museum dedicated to coffee very close.

Extremely rude wait staff! My partner and I went for lunch and I asked a waiter directions to the bathroom - he responded in a rude and condescending manner - response was to go straight and take a taxi waiting outside! Is this customer service? Is this how you train your staff to treat customers? Extremely unprofessional and frankly unacceptable behavior! Needless to say, we left with a really bad feeling about the place! Wont be spending money in such a negative environment! Will not be recommending to our friends to visit!

Peaceful, authentic lunch stop after visiting the busy souks. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. With gallery, which makes it even more interesting. It is also a cool place with a lot of shadows since there is a big beautiful tree in de middle of the restaurant. Homemade apple iced tea is amazing.

It was empty when i went. No employees and no customers. The ambience is lovely. I went around 9PM, the vibes were spooky. It is hard to get to this gallery, you will need to ask around.

One of my favorite cafes in dubai mainly because of the whole experience and the ambience. The location is great but finding the place could be a task. However, the whole interiors are so beautifully done even with the art gallery. It was honestly so pretty and is great for meet ups and even large gatherings. The food was okay, but the service was great.

Don't forget to go around for picturesque moments. The best time to visit would be morning to evenings before sunset, thats when the true beauty of the place shines.

Very unique location in old Dubai with a huge mature tree in the middle of the cafe. The cafe is in the courtyard of the hotel with a very old world vibe. Food was great, price was good and service was friendly

Best for everything. Don’t miss this gem of Dubai and the Bur Dubai area, otherwise you are a fool. The gallery is unpretentious and superb catches to be made, the owner is so kind, the decoration is simply authentic with a cool vibe, and you’ll make a lot of friends! Plus the vegan food is great as well. My ressource when I am in town

My breakfast was really good, but it was very expensive for what it was. I had seen it was between 1-50 AED to eat so I came here, but nothing was below 50 AED for food.
As a budget traveler, I wouldn't come back to eat, but I would for a coffee.
If you don't mind spending a bit more, then this place is perfect.

It's one of the few art galleries in Dubai. The atmosphere is amazing, hidden art gems everywhere. If you'd like to spend some relaxing time just visit old Dubai and explore.

Instagram able hidden Gem ???? you can find it easily, just ask around. The atmosphere is very chilled. Great food and lots of old world charm. ????
