We had dinner last night, the place we got
Was not amazing but ok. Food quality was good but much tooo overpriced for what we got: the chateaubriand for 2 was ok but not
Well prepared for what it should be and side dishes were in extra and not cheap. They could have offered for this price. On top of
That the staff was starting to clean and rearrange all furnitures far before we got finished dinner… as a sign to leave fast the place. For this kind of price they should at least waited we finished. We pay for all of this more 1000 aed without starters and with 2 glasses of wine. Better going elsewhere for this kind of price.

I was so impressed by the AMAZING service by Porterhouse Restaurant, Sofitel The Palm Dubai as this place is a MUST for me wherever I’m in town for business or pleasure. What was more impressive and genuinely enjoyable experience, is the fact the restaurant staff (REMEMBERED) my favorite selections. And specifically what wine Ive ordered last time! (I didn’t even remember what I ordered last time ????)!! But this is what AMAZING customer service is all about!!! They were genuine, honest, and extremely professional!!! Thank you so much for having us last night ????????????????????

Nice meal, I had the salmon and husband had the steak frites. It was my birthday and they kindly bought out a little cake. Only thing I’d say is the restaurant outside is lacking atmosphere and it was a very mixed bag with the dress code.

We liked the food, the steak ???? and fish were good. The presentation was as expected from the fine dining restaurant! You must not miss the sauces it has to offer. Marta our attendant was very cordial and attentive.

Order the short ribs, you will not regret.

Lovely food, had the tomato soup which was delicious to start, wife had the prawn cocktail and finished it all. The tenderloin steak was really soft and juicy, wife’s risotto was ok. Deserts were good but took 30+ minutes to arrive which was a bit disappointing. But when we visited again service was perfect.
Restaurant has a good atmosphere but would have been better without 3 crying babies, which we didn’t have the second time we went which was more peaceful.
A little disappointing that on the sophitel half board option the steak is an extra 60AED but not surprising and bizarrely the lemon sorbet or ice cream on the menu says it is an extra 20AED but this does not come up on the bill and after enquiring it seems to be a mistake on the menu.
Overall a great steak restaurant to visit.

My recent visit to Porter House in Dubai left me with mixed feelings. The restaurant, with its charming ambiance and attentive staff, had all the makings of a great dining experience. However, my enthusiasm was dampened by the disappointing quality of the food, particularly the steak.

The ambiance at Porter House is undoubtedly one of its highlights. The restaurant boasts a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere, with well-designed interiors and a pleasant, cozy feel. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist, contributing to a positive initial impression.

Regrettably, the same cannot be said for the culinary aspect of the evening. The steak, a dish one would expect to be a highlight at any reputable restaurant, fell short of expectations. It was one of the poorest renditions I have encountered in Dubai. The meat was tough, lacking the desired tenderness and succulence that one looks for in a well-prepared steak. Additionally, the seasoning seemed inconsistent, leaving much to be desired in terms of flavor.

While the menu featured a variety of appealing options, the disappointment with the steak overshadowed the overall dining experience. The sides and appetizers showed promise, displaying a creative approach to culinary delights, but the lackluster main course left a lasting impression.

In conclusion, Porter House has the potential to be a great dining destination in Dubai, thanks to its charming ambiance and attentive service. However, the quality of the food, particularly the steak, needs significant improvement to match the overall experience one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I hope that the kitchen takes this feedback constructively and works towards elevating the culinary offerings to match the restaurant's otherwise commendable attributes.

Our server was condescending. He folded his arms while waiting for us to order, and eventually got our sauces order wrong. Even then, he did not apologise and made it look like he was putting in extra service to change our sauces. Furthermore, the food was meh, and could not redeem the service we received. Not sure why we got recommended this place by the reception to celebrate our anniversary.

Me and My wife had the pleasure of dining at porterhouse last night, and I must say the service was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and attended to. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive without being intrusive, and always had a smile on their face. The timing of our courses was perfect, and they even accommodated a special request with grace. It’s rare to find such impeccable service, and it truly enhanced our dining experience. Kudos to the entire team for their exceptional service!”

Celebrating our anniversary and craving a great steak, and as always, Porterhouse didn’t disappoint.
The chateaubriand was cooked to perfection and the service provided by Binoy, Guillaume, Marta and Wilbert was second to none. Well done to Chef Jefry and his culinary brigade! Thank you again and we look forward to coming back soon.

Had a fantastic evening meal at the Porterhouse Steak and Grill restaurant. It is located in the Sofitel hotel and offers a good selection of food to cater for your likes. I recommend the French Onion soup, which was delicious, I would even go as far as saying it was the best I’ve had. For mains I chose the steak which came with a side of fries, it was cooked to perfection and beautifully tender. Dessert was an Eton mess, again very tasty and the meringue was light and crumbly. Overall a strong recommendation.

WOW!!! This steakhouse is the best we have ever tried anywhere in the world. We were recommended this restaurant by a chef that trained here but had since moved on to other places.

The steaks were incredible, from the cuts of meat to the seasoning being perfect and the marshmallow feel in the mouth being a true delight.

The manager, Marko, went above and beyond to accommodate myself and husband with special requests due to health complications and allergens. This was extremely appreciated and allowed us to enjoy a beautiful evening for our wedding anniversary. Marko is a credit to the company and generally a very nice person.

The ambience and atmosphere was perfect, with smooth jazz playing softy for an elevated feel and at the perfect level so you could still hold a private conversation.

We live on the palm so this will become our go to. Cannot fault it for amazing food.

Great pre drinking bar area with happy hour until 8pm daily. Food on dine around exceptional choice. Steaks are good. Very good! Will be back. My only complaint is that it's so dark inside. Some additional low lighting would be nice. But this is a minor grumble amd certainly not a reflection of the food or service.

The service was great. They were helpful with ensuring our baby was comfortable. The food was just okay, and quite pricey for the quality and taste.

Super Steakhouse. Alle Speisen sehr lecker und von top Qualität. Bester Service den man sich vorstellen kann. Drinnen und draußen auf der Terrasse wunderschön zum Sitzen.

Great meal. Enjoyed our time. Staff was very kind, we did have a small issue and they were very kind about it. Apologized many times for their mess up. Our server was very sweet. We had about 5 different people serve us. Great food!! Grilled chicken ceaser salad was fantastic!!

Am a big fan of porter house and i always go back to this place to have a nice meal with family and friends. They have this kenyan barman very lolute. Harry thank you so much for your great service. I will definately come back. The wine, the champagne, the food gosh I love everything ????????????
