Another “W” that certainly doesn’t disappoint.
A truly wonderful experience made by the entire team. Every team member is a genuine delight albeit a special call out to Marco (Food & Beverages Manager), Yash (the face and smile of the WetDeck, and the entire team who are simply awesome) and of course the smiles and conversation with the the brilliant Liv team - special call out to Romisha and Nishant who are so lovely, caring and attentive.
A really special highlight was the falconer who allowed us to “meet and greet”, William the Hawk.
This really was a very special break in the Dubai sun. My fiancée, myself and family had such a brilliant time and that is thanks to the people who make the W “tick” from the security guards, to the front of house, to the cleaners - thank YOU. Hopefully see you again

Worst valet service ever. Had to wait more than an hour for my car while I saw everyone next to me leave within 30 minutes or less. Service at the beach and pool is very poor. Noisy place and food is average. Very crowded, waiters are not kind. Never coming back

Magnífico hotel en la playa, impecable atención,máximo confort muy lujoso cuenta con instalaciónes de muy alta calidad la playa muy limpia el personal muy atento muy buenas habitaciones una fantástica experiencia desde la recepción hasta el personal los huéspedes pueden disfrutar plenamente de cada momento una experiencia inolvidable

The W brand carries a lot of weight, but also a lot of expectations. Unfortunately the hotel is not delivering on those expectations neither in the heritage of the brand. The pool area overall it’s extremely poor. I’m not talking about the service from the waiters but about the whole set up.
For starters there is a clear lack of umbrellas. I’m not talking about one here and there but about dozens missing. We were lucky to have one but you could see rows of sun beds with it one. As a result you have all the guests asking the waiters for an umbrella and the poor guys have to find one somewhere and bring it to them. This is in the best case scenario, in others they could simply not find one only to get yelled at by the frustrating guest. This of course distracts the waiters from doing their job because there are more focus on finding umbrellas and dealing complains than looking after the guest, offering drinks and food.
I’m not sure why there are not enough umbrellas, if anything they should have enough and even extras to be able to send to wash and paint. As it stands the existing umbrellas are in poor state, dirty with paint scrapping off. The same goes for the sun beds which all of them have the paint peeling off and the elastic is loosing making them uncomfortable.
Then you have the sound problem. On one side you have the wet deck which has a DJ and loud music, but now you have another beach club on the other side with DJ and loud music too. Hence if you are in the pool you not only have loudness all over but it’s also not enjoyable because you have both songs at the same time. This clearly makes no sense, you should either realign the speakers to at least try to dissipate the sound somehwere or do you really need two beach clubs less than 100 meters from each other with loud music? Especially when the entire pool is full of kids.
Overall the team is very and courteous but there is a clear lack of investment in the area and is clearly showing. I mentioned the more obvious ones but you can see the same on the plates, some of them chipped and damaged. Instead of having proper customize trays for your food order they bring them in this large oval trays which are not only difficult to bring food in but also when you finish it’s difficult to clear the plates and cutlery because there is nothing to put them in. As well, havent Marriott eradicated all single use plastic? Well they are bringing the condiment sauces in plastic ramekins. I can only think that the ramekins got broken or something and instead of purchasing new ones was cheaper to get plastic ones.
There is a lot of potential in this hotel however there needs to be more love and care for it as well as for the brand.

Loved my stay here. The facilities, the breakfast buffet, the pool and the beach. Had amazing holidays with my family. The service is fantastic! Can’t wait to be back.

Le W the Palm est un des plus beaux hôtels de Dubai. Le lobby est incroyable avec son lustre démesuré, la plage est magnifique avec une très belle vue sur la sky Line de la Marina, il y a deux piscines différentes tout aussi agréables et les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et aménagées de façon luxueuse (nous avions une belle terrasse en sus). Le buffet du petit déjeuner est tout simplement extraordinaire par sa diversité et sa gourmandise (c’est le meilleur de mes 15 dernières années de voyage).
Le personnel est prévenant, souriant et à l’écoute. Mention spéciale à Paul-Loup Radal (manager b&f) pour son accueil chaleureux et les renseignements utiles donnés.

We went to attend ifthar party.
The pallet parking should improve. We waited for almost an hour to receive collect back our car.

Im Zimmer angekommen musste ich noch selber mit einem Handtuch den Boden trocken wischen, obwohl ich an der Rezeption gesagt hatte das unser Zimmer nass ist, entweder wurde das nicht ordentlich trocken gewischt oder es wurde einfach nicht gemacht. Es ist das erste mal das wir mit meinem Mann in diesem Hotel sind, bin nicht zufrieden mit dem Service vom Hotel
