Plus restaurant, cadre rétro trop mignon, mais le service pas terrible, espace bouillant et surtout cuisine pas terrible, viande trop cuite, dure … plat du jour au mur depuis deux jours et pas « mis à jour » !
Dommage, potentiel mais pas passé un bon moment !

I ended up going to l'atmosphere purely for a time killing drink while I waited for a dinner reservation at another restaurant, and geez I should have had dinner HERE! Let me count the ways:

1. We arrive without a reservation and waitress #1 (W1 from now on) says there's no tables inside but she looks and notices a table might be freeing up in 10 mins. So she sits us down outside under the rain shade (it was raining) to wait. 2 mins later W1 motions from inside and our table is ready.

2. W1 takes our order of two happy hour cote de rhone red vin, and the place is packed. The attentiveness of W1 and the newly seen Waitress #2 (W2) is really cool to watch. They do not stop checking. It's like they're prison guards with machine guns patrolling the prison fence except instead of machine guns they shoot you with a refill of wine or beer.

3. We order the bread and cheese with honey appetiser ( €10) and the genuine happy to serve energy from W1 is so lovely.

4. There's a big glass punch jar with mysterious liquid in it on the bar and we ask W1 what it is, and she happily tells us it's a rum, lime and cinnamon cocktail and asks if we want to try it. We smile but say no thanks (mistake #1).

5. W2 checks how we're doing 5 mins later and says so funly 'be careful if you taste the rum because you will need an uber afterwards!'. (this is in english as well, which is so nice for us single language speakers).

6. W1 comes back 10 mins later and drops two free shots of the rum on the table for us. And it's damn nice!!

We only got an appetiser and wine, not a full meal, so I can't vouch for the main food, but the service was actually impeccable. The genuine joy felt in having us in their establishment was so lovely.

Malpolis et désagréables

Une atmosphère de vieux bistrot top et de bons coktail en happy hour

Despite the cheeky cocktails that were available, this felt like a proper French café. All it needed was the whiff of Gitanes and you could be in another time... It was a cold and rainy day, but very cosy inside. Lovely place right by the Canal St Martin.

L'atmosphère est super , juste en face du canal St Martin le cappocino est un délice...service super agréable j'adore cette endroit.

L'emplacement est idéal, au bord du canal St Martin. Le cadre superbe avec sa belle patine. L'accueil est plutôt minimaliste. Par contre, un bar qui ne propose pas de petits grignotages (chips, olives, cacahouètes...) pour accompagner un apéro (et vous inciter à consommer des planches au prix fort), ce n'est pas top. Dommage...

Nice place by the canal - dog friendly too ????

Visited around 3pm on a Thursday, was not busy except for a few tables full in the outside seating area.

Staff were not very attentive, a bit of an uncomfortable vibe as there was one man, I think he was a member of staff but i’m not too sure, who was sitting at a table and was watching my friend I during our entire meal.

Food was good value for money and restaurant is in a good location.

After paying for our meal we sat outside for a while and the man who was watching us inside came to watch us outside so we found this strange and this made us leave earlier than we wanted to.

Food is good but atmosphere is not great during their quiet periods when staff are lounging around… .

Adorable laidback, L’Atmosphère is a place that worths the visit. Close to Canal Saint Martin, it’s a perfect place to have a encounter with friends, a first date. The classic French Onion Soup is a must. The atmosphere is really friendly without being too noisy and democratic: from a group of young lively people to a distinguished old gentlemen that goes there every night for dinner, L’Atmosphere proves that you don’t have to go super expensive to enjoy a charming Parisian Cuisine!

L'endroit est sympa, il manque juste une ambiance musicale.

MERVEILLEUX ! Excellent restaurant, en toute simplicité. Ce restaurant dégage un superbe charme parisien, en plein canal Saint-Martin ! Pour commencer service superbe, rapide et réactif serveuse très agréable, ça fait plaisir.
Parlons des plats ! Exceptionnel, exquis, une odeur d’épice qui nous rappelle l’ambiance de Noël, top !
Une superbe cuisine nous nous sommes penchée vers le filet de bœuf sauce poivre, je recommande ! Cuisson superbe, viande juste magique. Prix abordable pour un si bel endroit. N’hésitez surtout pas. Au plaisir de revenir.

Vraiment bien, le seul café qui vaut le coup à Montmartre

I was unsure how my experience would be after reading mixed reviews. The staff was sweet and did not mind me speaking English. When I arrived around 13:20pm it was very busy and boisterous. By the time I left it was empty. The seating can be a bit cramped but there is a nice view of the street.

I ordered the Salade Cesar Palace. It was absolutely divine - fresh salmon, boiled egg, parmesan, cherry tomatoes with a light dressing. It was refreshing but filling, plus with the side of bread. Would highly recommend!

Atmosphere cosy chaleureuse. Déjeuner délicieux plein de bons produits fins et authentiques. Service aux petits soins et pas poussé au crime. À refaire!

On m'a recommandé ce resto L'atmosphère pour la qualité de ces repas! Je n'étais pas déçu!
