Le personnel d'Astier était également incroyable. Ils étaient très sympathiques et avaient les meilleures recommandations. Nous avons fait confiance à chacun d’entre eux et ils ont vraiment rendu l’expérience encore plus spéciale.
L'endroit en lui-même était très confortable et c'était le moyen idéal pour terminer nos vacances. C'était une expérience vraiment française et j'ai hâte d'y retourner ! Si jamais vous êtes à Paris, vous devez absolument aller voir Astier.

So, I just had the most amazing meal at Astier in Paris! Let me tell you, the scallops were just beautiful and so delicious. And you know what? I tried frog legs for the first time, and they were surprisingly yummy, flavorful, and so meaty!
The staff at Astier were incredible too. They were so friendly and had the best recommendations. We trusted every one of them, and they really made the whole experience extra special.
The place itself was so cozy, and it was the perfect way to end our vacation. It was a really French experience and I just can't wait to go back there! If you're ever in Paris, you've gotta check out Astier.

Good food and friendly service but in the end the evening was spoiled when they cheated on glass wine prices: 9-12 euros per glass for regular wines

Très bon accueil. Ils nous ont gentiment attendu alors qu on était très en retard !

Les plats sont très soignés et pleins de goût.
Le pigeon, particulièrement, était absolument divin !
Très bon plateau de fromages.
Le soufflé au chocolat, que vous devrez commander au début, est saupoudré de zestes de combawa, un agrume très intéressant. Le résultat était intense et très nuancé.
Je recommande vivement !

We had the pleasure of dining at Astier last month. Not only was the food wonderful (beef filet and veal), including a superb chocolate soufflé, but the service was very special. The owner was very patient and held our table until we found our way there. Bruno deferred to Carolyn, who spoke English; her service extended to calling a taxi for us so that we would get safely back to our hotel. We enjoyed chatting with her and finding out how long she had been a server in that very neighborhood. We liked the understated, neighborhood feel of the restaurant and wish we could return (from Buffalo, NY!) to sample the rest of the menu!

What a delightful traditional meal in Paris. This is the sort of restaurant one hopes to discover. The service is friendly and very welcoming. And the dishes are wonderful. I appreciate the ability to reserve online, since telephone conversations in French are somewhat daunting for me.

Tried to give 10 stars but google said no. Was in the 11th this past January - wanted off the beaten track and got it. Stumbled (figure of speach) on to this amazing little bistro when looking for dinner night #1. Staff were incredibly friendly. Ambiance was perfect. And the food... oh the food. Frog legs and broccoli mash! Ended up there every night I was in town. Think I had most of the entrees on the menu and every one was incredible. And the staff...bravo! I'll be back!! Thank you Astier!!

Questione abbastanza complessa dare un voto oggettivo a questo ristorante. Il servizio era eccellente; la selezione di vino buona ma sovraprezzata; il cibo ben selezionato ma in diversi casi molto sovraprezzato (razza al burro 42 euro? suvvia). Si tratta di una cucina francese tradizionale plausibile, ma il prezzo finale (circa 80 euro a testa senza dessert e con un vino di fascia bassa) del tutto fuori scala. Fosse costato 60 a testa sarebbe stato plausibile; a questo prezzo, circa il 30-40% in più del valore effettivo, si trova di meglio a Parigi come altrove.

The owner of the restaurant is a somewhat snobbish Frenchman, who refuse to let us order a cheese plate and wine, and insisted that we order an entrée. When I informed him I was a vegetarian, he prepared two vegetarian place for us at €21 each with a handful of vegetables on the plate and then charged is five euros for the water. I am sure there are better places that I can spend my €95 and get a better meal and better service.
Par ailleurs la carte est régulièrement renouvelée, donc on a toujours une bonne raison d'y retourner.
