Meinungen THE PEOPLE HOSTEL Paris

Everyone raves about this place and I imagine it's largely due to the location and the nice private beds. We came here for half the week, after staying in the people - Bellevue, since Marais was booked the first half. Compared to Bellevue it was definitely a different crowd, more early twenties late teens, which was nice. (Bellevue was much quieter and seemed to be filled with a bunch of high schoolers on a class trip when we were there.) In the shared room in Bellevue they provided a towel (here they made you rent it) and the rooms came with a locker big enough for a carry-on suitcase, which was not the case here. Besides location and people, this place was much worse. The shared womens bathroom was pretty dirty, despite daily cleaning. The drains of the sinks were clogged so it always backed up, There was a mysterious leak maybe from a toilet that left the entire floor soaked. And the worst part was that the showers shut off after 10 seconds. I timed it. I tried to upload a video but google wont let me... Therefore for a short 3 min shower, you have to press the button, over and over, 18 times. Bellevue there was no timer. After a long day of traveling you just want a nice shower and you have to do that. Also someone stole my stuff I left in the shower by accident which is so rude, but that's not really on them and the staff were pretty nice and helpful about it. Anyway, maybe stay in one of the private rooms if possible, or else be prepared for this/stay at another location. It's otherwise nice.

Really a bad place! The cleaner took away my belongs twice! And the stuff always said they could do nothing! Really a bad experience!

Malo: Relación calidad-precio. La ducha que cada 5 segundos se corta, limpieza con muchas oportunidades.

파리7박중 숙소 이동해야할일이 있었는데 너무나 잘 지낸곳이다. 숙소 내부는 엄청 깨끗한느낌음 아닌데 청소는 잘해주는듯! 리셉션 직원들 친절하나 체크인시간(3시)에 가면 오래 기다림..역에서 엄청 가깝고 생마르탱운하, 바스티유광장이랑 가깝다! 그냥 7박동안 여기 한곳으로만 예약할껄ㅋ 3박이라 아쉽,, 다음번에 파리에 간다면 호스텔은 여기로! 굳이 15구쪽 숙박 안해도 될듯! ????????

Had a room with three other people, it was a bit small but there was a chill-out room on the same floor where you could sit if you wanted. The curtains on the bed gave a lot of privacy.
Location was pretty good, literally a minute from a metro station and about 15 from the paris gare de lyon, but if you wanted to get to the eiffel tower or the other parts of paris it was a bit further.

Muito bem localizado.
Quartos limpos, tudo organizado e bem conservado. Estruturas novas. Não usei a cozinha porém visitei e vi que a estrutura era completa e espaçosa.
Possui um restaurante no primeiro andar que no período da noite fazem eventos temáticos e até noite do karaokê, tudo isso sem incomodar com barulho nos quartos pois possui isolamento acústico.
Os staffs foram muito educados!
Recomendo sem medo.

Hola estoy residiendo en el lugar, todo muy bien pero la comida que supuestamente podes guardar y cocinarla en el hostal se la roban por más que le pongas carteles.
y el personal no se hace responsable de eso

Location was perfect. Privacy screens on the bunks were amazing. Large bathrooms were also the best and clean always. The kitchen space was very crowded when we tried to use it, and the bar was extremely expensive. But the rooms were perfect, the storage in rooms and downstairs were exactly what we needed, and we loved the vibe of the spaces.

Would give them zero stars if I could. I made a reservation for their hotel through Agoda and unfortunately had to cancel about a week out. The hotel would not give me any sort of credit, coupon, voucher, or even let me change the dates on the reservation. They wouldn’t even let me change the room type I did end up making it on the trip. I called them and the costomer service was absolute trash. They were rude, and unwilling to help. I reached out to Agoda as a last ditch effort and they informed me that the hotel was not willing to work with them either. This company wouldn’t even work with my travel agent at Agoda. They basically told me in the rudest way possible thanks for your money tough luck.. 0 Stars.. would not recommend!

Not good for families. Not good for teenagers groups. They have other priorities. Besides, You have to push a button all the time to shower. No temp control in your room. It was really warm. Too expensive for what you get.

Hermoso lugar

Déjà client de la marque sur d'autres villes, je découvre l'adresse du marais.
Pour l'accueil, au cheking c'est a améliorer ( sourire info service, horaires petit déjeuner)
Pour le restaurant, lorsqu' un client se présente et parle du service en chambre, c'est que par déduction il dort sur place, ou lui demander pour confirmer. Cela évite de payer et de se faire entendre dire si vous m'aviez présenté votre carte de chambre vous auriez eu 20% de remise.
Idemn pour les horaires d'ouverture, une affiche avec des horaires, c'est d'usage et mieux que de bloquer la porte pour que les clients trouve porte close.
Pour le confort en chambre, c'est très qualitatif, mais peu de services en chambre(donc pas de cafetière) dommage dans cette gamme. Maintenant l'insonorisation : au 7eme étage, il manque certainement une isolation phonique, car le bruit de rue est anormalement présent dans la chambre ????.
Pour la salle de bain, c'est efficace et propre, pas de quoi poser la serviette, mais c'est sans importance pour moi.
Bref : une belle adresse qui mérite des réglages, des sourires et du service.

Girls, think twice.
Since I found a half-naked old man showered and got dressed in female bathroom. I asked a staff in the floor for help but she said she was only responsible for cleaning.
Obviously the management is horrible.

I only have good memories here.You can interact with various people and have a good time.It's my favorite place in Paris!!

The best hostel in Paris in my humble opinion. Os quartos eram limpos todos os dias,funcionários super simpático, localização perfeita????????????????????

Merci au staff très sympathique, surtout les personne de nuit que j'ai vu à mon arrivée.

Si vous êtes de passage (Ce qui était mon cas avant de partir le landemain à Athènes) le bâtiment est bien placé et on s'est vous accueillir avec le sourire.

Accueil sympathique ; chambre propre et calme ; j’ai laissé mon sac toute la journée sans cadenas et aucune perte à déclarer ; endroit beau et agréable. Super rapport qualité prix !
PS : une incroyable boulangerie à deux pas de l’hostel

Excellent ! Vraiment c'est le seule mot que je peut utiliser pour décrire ce lieux !
La qualité est présente et le prix est + que correct
Je reviendrais !

Excelente: ubicación, limpieza, habitación, restaurante, baños, recepcionistas, ambientación....sin duda, volvería.

Chambre propre et agréable avec vue sur les toits de Paris. La Bastille et Montmartre depuis la nôtre.
Personnel accueillant et emplacement idéal.
