Wenn der Regisseur vonEmily in Paris in der Gegend von Notre-Dame ein typisches Pariser Bistro als Schauplatz für eine der Szenen der Serie gesucht hätte, hätten wir ihm ohne zu zögern dieses Petit Pontoise empfohlen. Ob Dekoration oder Küche, die Anhänger der Tradition werden hier verwöhnt. Sehr verwöhnt! Nehmen Sie zum Beispiel "Les classiques de la Maison": Schnecken-Cassolette, Ravioles de la Drôme, gebratener Camembert mit Mandelkruste und hausgemachte Gänseleber mit Feigen. Es gibt kaum etwas Besseres. Und alles ist auf den Punkt gebracht! Eine Institution des Viertels.

Peut-être que la nuit a été mauvaise pour vous et pour les serveurs.
Nous avons été intimidés pour obtenir un vin dont nous ne voulions pas, entre autres choses. Elle considérait son rôle comme celui de « divertir » les convives plutôt que de servir. Tous les Américains (et le restaurant en était PLEIN) ont adoré. (je viens moi-même des États-Unis)
Trois d'entre nous ont commandé le gigot de sept heures, un de mes préférés. C'était sec et pas savoureux du tout. Les ingrédients frais sont le point de départ, je suis d'accord, mais l'agneau n'était tout simplement pas bon. Désolé. C'est le cas. Comme je l'ai noté, c'était peut-être simplement une nuit de congé.
Je voyage à Paris deux fois par an et j'ai l'habitude de dîner chez René au coin de la rue, où le service est plus discret et où, franchement, la nourriture est bien meilleure.
Ainsi, au lieu d'être aussi sur la défensive, considérez une évaluation comme une opportunité « d'améliorer votre jeu ».

Don’t quite understand the attraction. The food? Adequate. The service? Annoying.

Maybe instead it was a bad night for you and for the wait staff.
We were bullied into a wine we didn't want -- among other things. She saw her role as "entertaining" diners rather than serving. All the Americans (and the restaurant was FULL of them) loved it. (I myself am from the States)
Three of us ordered the gigot de sept heures, a favorite of mine. It was dry and not tasty at all. Fresh ingredients are the place to start, I agree, but the lamb was just not good. Sorry. That's the case. As I noted, it might just have been an off night.
I travel to Paris twice a year and customarily dine at Chez René around the corner, where the service is more discreet, and where, frankly, the food is much better.
So instead of being so defensive, consider a review as a chance to "up your game."

Great service and food, friendly staff, just what we needed on a cold night. Merci
Tout d’abord, le personnel ne se soucie pas vraiment de ce que ressent le client.
Notre entrée était un camembert qui avait l'air fantastique mais avec du sucre cuit dessus. C'était insipide. Ni sucré, ni salé.
Nous avons commandé l'agneau et le steak de porc et les deux viandes étaient catastrophiques.
L'agneau sentait vraiment mauvais car il provenait d'un vieil animal et le porc mesurait environ 3 centimètres de haut et était très moelleux. Le couteau n’a pas du tout réussi à le couper.
Lorsque nous avons informé la serveuse du désagrément, elle n'a rien fait. Au moins le dessert aurait pu être un compliment.
Le tiramisu était tout le reste mais pas un tiramisu. Un gâteau nature.
De plus, tout était si petit et si petit que la serveuse ne pouvait pas se déplacer entre les tables et poussait tout le temps toutes les chaises des invités.
Mauvaise expérience de cette cuisine française.

The most disappointing place we’ve ever been to on our Paris visit.
First of all, the staff is not really bothered how the client feels.
Our starter was a camembert that looks fantastic but had a baked sugar on top. It was tasteless. Not sweet, not salty.
We’ve ordered the lamb and the pork steak and both of the meats were catastrophic.
The lamb smelled really badly as it was from an old animal and the pork was around 3 centimetres high and really chewy. The knife did not manage to cut it at all.
When we informed the waitress of the inconvenience she did nothing. At least the dessert could have been a compliment.
The tiramisu was everything else but not a tiramisu. A plain cake.
On top of all, everything was so tiny and little that the waitress couldn’t move through the tables and was pushing all the chairs of the guests all the time.
Bad experience from this French cuisine.
