Le directeur de guichet me dit que l’avion est pleine et il n’y a plus de ticket en vente car j’ai eu un problème avec mon ticket.
Mon copain est monté, et a pris l’avion seul et il y avait encore plein de place libre.
J’ai dû prendre un train pour prendre à Paris.
Les services annoncées dans leur site ne sont pas appliquées pour plus de 8h d’escales.
On m’a beaucoup parlé de Qatar. J’ai donc pris pour le première fois. Le retour comme l’aller, c’est surcoté d’après mon expérience.
Bonjour, étant membre du previlage clup, lorsque je le contacte pour avoir des renseignements, une longue attente sans aucune réponse sur le problème et en plus de ça,ils ne parlent pas français...
My bag was stolen by Qatar France and 30hours later arriving in Cape Town, SA I have had no clothes, no toiletries and no bag!
48hours later and still no feedback!
I have reached out to Qatar Airways multiple times via email (provided my case details and booking reference) and have requested to speak with a manager or supervisor to discuss my concerns. Unfortunately, I have not received any feedback or acknowledgment from Qatar Airways.
Dreamliner: Crammed into seats with little legroom and squashed into the person sitting next to you. Armrest between seats doesn’t fully go back so sticks into your shoulder, seats are very flimsy if someone moves slightly in front of you the whole seat moves including the seat table. If someone in front of you puts the seat back you get crushed (see photo -2 small teenage girls crammed in)
If you sit on this plane for any more than 3 hours you will regret it (unless you are 3ft tall!) To top it all off our entertainment system headphones didn’t work (both ways) having to jam bits of paper into the connection to hear a movie in both ears (see photo). I think this may be a regular problem as the flight attendants roll their eyes when you inform them. Very disappointing sat on this plane for over 6 hours and going insane with discomfort.
This was not a one-off flight of discomfort the same was experienced on the first leg with the same Dreamliner plane.
The first return leg of the journey was ok and comfortable with a better entertainment system (with a USB charging point) but seemed to be an older plane with Omar Air branding but flown by Qatar Airways. The second leg of the journey was on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner (which is a new plane) but very different and uncomfortable. At one point two families started fighting because a child was crushed when someone put their seat back - it amazes me when the space is so limited why you would add a reclining seat facility…!??
We will not touch this airline again and we are frequent long haul flyers…
You get what you pay for with Ryanair and it’s usually short flights so it’s expected and bearable to some extent. Qatar flights are not cheap and tend to be more long haul, so you would expect better, and from a new plane…!
Cramming more people onto flights, with poor seating and entertainment quality seems to be the Qatar Airways way forward. I am sure they will, and should live to regret this…
We had a fantastic holiday in Sri Lanka booked with TUI only to be spoilt by the Qatar Airways flight…
I wonder if the person who designed the Qatar Airways Boeing Dreamliner or the Qatar CEO has experienced a long haul flight in economy… I don’t think so!
I would recommend choosing a different airline like British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Quantas etc for long haul flights - avoid Qatar and certainly their Boeing Dreamliner fleet…
I only write this review so that other families don’t experience this airline or plane
Mais maintenant je comprends leur façon de faire les choses. ils attendent que vous vous lassiez en vous mentant constamment. C'est écoeurant.
C’est une situation stressante. Je ne m’attend pas à être rembourser maintenant. Je viens de lire les autres commentaires et certains en sont à 2 ans d’attente….
Donc Je ne recommande pas cette compagnie et ne volerai plus jamais avec eux. QATAR AIRWAYS.
Update: Après des dizaines d’appels, une bonne dizaine d’heures au téléphone avec Doha pour répéter encore et encore la même histoire, j’ai finalement été remboursé. Cela m’aura couté quelques centaines d’euros en communication en usant le crédit Skype.
Bref service après-vente des plus mauvais.
A éviter et préférez Emirates ou Etihad.
I awoke my husband to make way to toilet and when I returned I found him standing on the ally screaming in pain. The young air hostess brought some ice wrapped in plastic bag and my husband rushed to toilet with the ice. What I gathered from a fellow traveller is :-
2 paper tumblers with boiling hot tea was kept by the air hostess on the folded tray without unfolding.Unfolded tray can take only one paper tumbler in the built in circular recess where she kept one and the other was kept by it's side having an adjoining continuous slot thus reducing it's width.
As she kept the 2nd tumbler, it overturned on my Husband's trouser covering his thighs and above and sustained burn injuries with several blisters on the tender skin.
The air hostess was perhaps a trainee who was not conversant with in- flight safety practices. She should have unfolded the tray making it wider before placing the hot tumblers which she didn't do.
I am not inclined to claim damage from the Airline for 2 reasons - one, no amount of compensation can reduce the pain he had suffered/suffering and the second and most important,I do not want to put the concerned air hostess to the risk of losing her job.
All that I wish to do is to urge upon all airlines including Qatar Airways, not to let the trainee air hostesses to render any service to passengers handling hot fluids which should be done by the more experienced lot.

Espacement des jambes très bien sur l'A380 mais ce n'est pas le cas des autres appareils.
Service correct, sans plus. Repas spéciaux commandés plusieurs mois à l'avance mais pas disponibles pendant le vol.
