CAMPING LES VARENNES ^{* * * *}

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Le camping est idéalement situé, très calme et très propre.
Par chance le soleil était au rendez-vous !!
Quelques petits parasols à la piscine seraient les bienvenus

Notre séjour a été agréable, camping très bien entretenu.
Piscine intérieure très propre mais manque pour ma part d’environ deux degrés pour être bien dedans surtout quand il ne fait pas très beau dehors, quand à la piscine extérieure bien trop froide et manque de parasol autour pour les personnes voulant se protéger du soleil.
Les viennoiseries sont excellentes. Il serait bien qu’il y ai un peu plus de plats à emporter pas uniquement moule pas et paella et frites. Un peu plus de snacking cela aurait été parfait.
A part ces petits détails nous avons passé un super séjour avec du personnel très accueillant et toujours souriant. Merci à vous tous et à bientôt

We arrived on Ile de Re with a campervan and tent and nothing booked. We looked at a couple of sites which didn't appeal to us then we tried Les Varennes and liked what we saw. It's a great location, within walking distance of a beautiful beach and close enough to cycle (or walk) in to the town of Bois Plage. Reception was friendly and helpful so we asked to book for three nights. The site seemed very secure and was very peaceful. Emplacements were a good size although they are not secluded so you have to say "bonjour" to your neighbours - not such a bad thing. The sanitary block, which was of a modern design, was kept particularly clean and everything there functioned well. The swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, were superb. The shop had a limited range of items but one could order bakery items in advance. If you want more than they provided, the shops of Bois Plage are not far so that was not a problem for us. We stayed there in June and the prices were very reasonable for a site of that quality. Highly recommended and hope to go back there some day.
