LA PORTE ROUGE - THE RED DOOR INN CHAMBRES D'HOTES

What a truly beautiful home away from home. We stayed for just one night as we were travelling through to Spain and needed a rest stop, but oh how we wished we were staying longer! This beautiful accommodation had everything we needed and the hosts were so warm and welcoming we felt so relaxed. The location is just perfect for exploring the shops in the town and the market around the corner on a Saturday. The hosts were so helpful with offering local knowledge of things to do and places to eat.
After a 15 hour drive the roll top bath was absolute perfection and the room was a lovely environment to relax in. The bed was super comfortable and we all had a great sleep. The room was very clean and presented beautifully. If you appreciate being surrounded by original features and antique furniture this really is the place for you as this home has been lovingly looked after and unspoilt.

We hope to visit for a longer stay in the future and thank the hosts for a lovely visit.

La demeure est ancienne mais très charmante, située dans une zone piétonnière tranquille. L'accueil est très chaleureux avec des hôtes exquis! Le seul regret : nous sommes venus en famille pour un mariage et n'avons pas eu l'occasion de goûter à la cuisine des hôtes qui doit être très bonne. Nous reviendrons certainement avec plus de temps libre.

This is just perfect, almost centre of town, 16th century home

Personnel aimable et très accueillant. Super petit déjeuner ,cependant je reste très déçu car le ménage, n’avait pas été fait lors de mon arrivée il y avait de la poussière dans l’entrée la chambre et les poubelles n’avait pas été vidé, il à été compliqué de prendre une douche à cause de la pression d’eau
