Rooms are a bit dated and in my opinion don’t live up to the nightly price level.
Breakfast buffet while relatively small was amazing with high quality items. Service was great as expected.
The swimming pool is nice, clean and classy with great service too.
A major disappointment was the beach. The only good thing about it is the view of sea and hills in the background, otherwise the water is among the most unclean I have ever seen in the French Riviera. The water is full of leaves, candy wrappers, paper, other objects…
There is a boat with huge nets trying to keep it clean but the water condition is surprisingly still not acceptable. The neighboring public beach offers a better swimming experience!!
On checkout, we asked for a late checkout but we were offered an extra hour only for one of the rooms despite our late check in…
Finally, the concierge desk was very helpful with advice and booking events.
All in all, a good stay if you want luxury dining and a nice pool experience but if you are looking for a good beach or a luxurious room then you may be disappointed.

But:
1. Housekeeping(( They do not see any problem if your room is not made until 4 pm! Even if the plate are on the door from 11. You have to contact them and discuss time of room cleaning if you want to be sure that the room are made before 4 pm.
2. Beach is really small and when its full you are almost touching your neighbors
3. It is not easy to adjust required water temperature from the shower tap. We had two rooms in two different buildings, but both have the problem.
4. Should be very careful with the room selection. Railway and roads are very near. And if you are looking for really quite place - it is not about. Honestly speaking, if you room is not railway view, you can hardly hear the train. But outside the room you will definitely feel yourself as in in-city hotel.
5. Unfortunately they did not use neither a/c nor fans for at the restaurants during our stay, and when it was hot outside and terraces were full it was a real challenge to have breakfast or lunch inside…
6. There are neither coffee machine nor kettle in the room by default. They are by request. Be prepared that tea and coffee they will not add to your basket every room cleaning. You have to ask house keeping and probably remind them after.
7. Be careful if you choose Orange Mansion when it’s rainy. On out last night we wake up from the water noise and found out that the water was coming to our room from the corridor. Nobody came to help or offer another room. So we dried our room by ourselves. Again they did not see big problem, we did not get any apologies for “inconvenience”…
Hope you will not meet all of these points once you will be charming by Cote D’Azur and if you stay one or two nights. But for longer stay I would not recommend this hotel - too many issues(((
Thank you for staying with us and sorry that you had to experience our property during this brutal and unexpected climatic episode that happened during the night (between 4 and 5 am) and flooded the Orangerie lobby (as per your photos) and some rooms on the ground floor.
We are grateful that you protected your door, therefore securing that your room wasn't flooded.
Many areas of our region have been damaged during this episode. This was the first time in 22 years after the creation of our Oragnerie Villa. After 5 months without rain, it seems that climatic changes can unfortunatly now cause this type of incident. Please accept our apologize for this, and even if it was out of our control our team has worked hard to bring the situation to normal in the morning.
We took good note of your other comments and thank you for your kind words directly to our team when you left the property yesterday. We do apologize that one day during your 6 nights stay your room was serviced after 3pm.
Regarding noise that could be created by the train, this is not a usual complaint from our guests as there aren't many train during the day and all our rooms are equipped with double glazing windows.
We hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you again in a normal and sunny situation, I would be pleased to take care of your stay and make it very special.
