ALLTOURNATIVE NATIVE PARKS & EXPEDITIONS

We took a tour to Coba on thier "Mayan Encounter", which consisted of a short paddle on a lagoon, visiting a Mayan Priest, zip-lining, rappelling, and visiting the Coba ruins.

Our guide was Alejandro Martinez, he preferred "Alex" for short. ...awesome guide. We've done several day trips in the "Cancun" area. Alex was about the best. Great knowledge of the Mayan empire...and didn't sound like he was reciting it from a book. I also took several opportunities to speak with him aside when others were off doing some other tourist-y things. He's had an exceptional life in MX and abroad which adds a depth that was certainly appreciated. ...and he is fun! Jokes and comments on the drive to our stops were enough to keep things lively. Something other guides either don't do...or do ineffectively.

Safety. There are elements of this trip that could be quite dangerous in inexperienced hands. In particular, the rope sections. Alejandro was very hands on with the rope course employees. Safety was evident everywhere and rigged very correctly. Double and triple redundancies for safety. High quality Petzel high speed double bearings on the zip lines (2 lines, 1rider). High quality name brand harnesses on each event. Rappel was very professionally set and equipped with rapellers decending on double rapel lines and another safety line as well as staff on bottom belay. ...and they safety checked each person before each zip or rappel to ascertain your harness was on correctly.

Although the staff was always excellent and had undoubtedly rigged these courses very well, I feel that Alejandro's ever present attention to safety details set him apart. And was the ONLY reason my very un-adventurous wife gave the rappel a go and had a blast!

Christian was our tour guide for our Jungle Maya (Native P. Tulum), he was the best tour guide and this experience is one for the books! The mayan lunch was so delicious. Highly recommended if you visit Cancun!

This company is amazing! and they have the best tour guide in Play Del Carmen/ Cancun. His name is Markus tall Austrian fellow that is really in touch with the local culture. highly recommend the Cenote Maya tour! so worth it! but the food sucks. lol

It was the best experience we had in a long time. Pablo was awesome we had such a wonderful day !!!
