The food is fine, but the service is terrible.

We came as a group of 10 people for dinner with kids. After asking four times to turn on the heaters on the terrace (it was a cold and windy evening), it took one hour for a technician to finally arrive. However, after a few unsuccessful attempts to get the heaters working, no one came to explain what was going on. We all, including my five-year-old daughter, suffered from the cold wind, but none of the staff apologized to us.

Additionally, we waited 45 minutes for our order (burgers), and one of the ordered cocktails never arrived.

Such a shame for a five-star hotel in Caudan.

Used to go there very often on Fridays for drinks. Very disappointed today, we sat there for 20 mins and no one came to take our order. The staffs remained in a corner chatting while we waited and left.

Quite expensive. Quality of food is good but service is not extraordinary. Bread is served cold - not a fan of cold bread in a 5 star hotel. Their "home-made" ice tea is made with the cheapest box of juice that you can find in our local supermarket added to tea that they make themselves.

Oh and they also added Dholl puri to their menu at rs350 (they sell this everywhere at rs25). Prepared with gold maybe?

I take my hat off to this hotel for absolutely amazing service after our flight was postponed for a day.

Air Mauritius arranged an overnight stay at this hotel for the night of 16 April 2024 after the postponement. We arrived by bus at the hotel after 21h00. Our rooms were sorted in no time and our luggage taken care of. We went to the restaurant on the ground floor and within 15 minutes we were served an amazing three-course dinner.

I was given room 505. Modern, spacious and with all the amenities one could wish for. The bed was very comfortable, the aircon was a lifesaver and the shower was just what I needed. Obviously tea, coffee, water and toiletries all provided. The room had a glorious view out on the harbour of Port Louis. The bus would pick us up 4h30 the next morning and each of us got a wake-up call at 4h00. Coffee, tea and croissants were ready for us before we got on the bus.

Outstanding service from a top-notch hotel that I can happily recommend to everyone.

The same food everyday they don't let you dish up you self dinner and they don't greet you. I was not impressed by the service.

Stayed here along with my team in early March 2024, for four nights. We have a wonderful stay. The hotel is very nice with an exquisite breakfast, and in a great location, close to many restaurants and shops. The hotel staff allowed us to use a spare room to keep our equipment, as we are a traveling performance ensemble. The staff were always friendly and helpful and always available and willing to help with anything. Special mention for Saira and Priyanka.

A very nice hotel located in the heart of Port Louis. Walking distance from most attractions and great restaurants. Though you don't have to leave the premises to get great food. I'm a big fan of their breakfast buffet and the evening cocktails. The rooms are good with medium firm beds and soft sheets. Highly recommend staying here if Port Louis is your destination.

Nice food

Very expensive for the quality of food and products used (even the vanilla ice cream was tasteless). Besides, pay attention to the dish you’re served: my salad came with half of the ingredients listed on the menu! Disappointing.

We were part of a large group of travelers from all parts of the world needing last minute accommodations for about 6 hours. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and patient, and established a calming affect on all of us. Thank you for being excellent hosts. I how to return one day as an actual guest.

Incompetent service for the standard that we expect. Several items from the Happy Hour menu were out of stock, we had to request several times for our table to be cleaned; very slow service in general.
One of the meals came without one of the main ingredients.
Pretentious place, extremely over-priced for the quality of food and service.
It is definitely not worth of a 5 star hotel, and it is not a place to come back. Avoid if possible.

Went there for a birthday dinner.

J’y étais allé plusieurs fois il y a 2 ans et j’étais conquise, j’étais assez déçue cette fois quand le service laissait légèrement à désirer (50mn d’attente et 2 plats oubliés qu’on a dû encore attendre..). C’est dommage car la nourriture est très bonne, pas excessif pour le décor merveilleux.

Service au petit soin dans un cadre magnifique, dans un luxueux hotel !
Bonne cuisine, simple et plat généreux.
Prix assez raisonnable vu le cadre (12€ le curry, 7€ le dessert)

J'ai commander des nems , à éviter j'ai eu un rouleau de printemps à la place couper en 4 morceaux.

Hôtel & Restaurants avec apparement 5 étoiles mais qui en mérite à peine une.. Nous avons été très mal accueillis, le service laisse clairement à désirer. Serveurs pas informés sur la carte, et les produits. Manque de communication entre la salle et la cuisine. Il y a eu plusieurs erreurs sur les plats commandés, aucune excuse de la part de la salle.

Nous avions commandés des pâtes au sarrasin (sans gluten) avec tomates, olives et pecorino. Et nous nous sommes retrouvés avec un plat de pâtes au blé, sauce tomate sans pecorino et olives. Plus de la moitié des ingrédients mentionnés sur la carte n’était pas dans l’assiette.

On ne reviendra pas

Nous y sommes arrivés sans réservation et nous avons été accueillis avec bienveillance et gentillesse avec nos 2 enfants.
Le personnel a été au petit soin avec nous, et surtout les enfants , sans que cela soit oppressant
