Best hotel in Mauritius. Good customer service. The staffs are polite and welcoming. Highly recommend for stay.

Excellent resort and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would give them an easy 5 stars was it not for the exorbitant drinks prices. Prepare yourself to pay 5 times the normal price for drinks (alcoholic or non alcoholic) no matter what country you come from. The food is excellent, the location is fantastic and so is the atmosphere at the resort, every night. Well worth the holiday if you can just get past those drinks prices.

Would I recommend long beach hotel for a solo black woman traveller, No. long beach is a modern hotel, beautiful ambiance, and the location is spot on. My experience as a single black woman travelling solo was disappointing. I was an all inclusive client. Upon arrival I was just handed the keys to my room, and nothing explained to me. Following day when I went to reception I noticed them and welcoming guests and giving them brochures and explaining to them detailed information about the hotel. I had to dig for that information from the staff myself, and even so, I got a sentence response out of them. They go all the way to make couples and family stay memorable, like put flowers on their tables, those nice beautiful gestures. For myself, a black solo traveller, well…overlooked and unnoticed is an understatement. They have a variety of restaurants and cuisines, chopsticks stood out for me. I booked for a floating breakfast three times in advance, and confirmed and always cancelled by their staff the following day, ultimately I didn’t have it since I was only there for a week. I love Mauritius as a relaxing spot but long beach, not really. The thought that I paid an all inclusive package and was treated like me a charity case really broke my heart. I didn’t get the value of my money. If you a black and travelling solo, do expect a different treatment and service, lower class service. Long beach ruined my first ever solo travel by withholding information from me that could have made my stay even more pleasant and discriminatory service. PS I did address my problems whilst at the hotel and I got “the look” and we will handle it and that’s it. It’s not the level of service I dispute, rather whom you feel is more entitled to it as compared to the other, and as a guest in your hotel, you didn’t feel I be entitled to your best service rather I was made to feel inferior than the other guests.

Tolles Hotel, leider etwas umständlich in manchen Sachen, ZB klettern, Restaurant buchen,Golfen. Einige Mitarbeiter sind top, andere eher Flop. Insgesamt aber alles ok und ein schönes Hotel

Absolutely beautiful place and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The 5 restaurants all served great food and drinks. We was all inclusive which is great value for money. we would definitely recommend this hotel and will be going for another visit

Pretty pathetic service.
Worst hospitality.
Do your self a favour and do not book this hotel.
Check in time is 2 pm. Even at 1.40 they responded saying rooms ll be provided only at 2 pm with a straight face. On checking with them at sharp 2 they made some futile and reluctant attempts to check with house keeping if the room is ready. The floors were wet and none of the supplies like water and toiletries are in room. Have to call front desk multiple times for supplies. The pool bar waiter is not able to provide a spoon inspite of waiting for 30 mins.
There is a system to take beach towel using a card and upon returning the towel, card is returned. Lol I have never experienced this. 5 stars hotels are known for its generosity. This is totally opposite. The reception staff and hospitality staff requires immense training. It's worth a 2.5 star not a 5 star. Complete holiday will be ruined if you book here

Un 5* qui n’en a pas vraiment les prestations… d’abord parce que certaines chambres (dont la mienne) subissent de vrais nuisances sonores et olfactives à cause d’une VMC très (trop?) puissante à proximité de leur bâtiment.
D’autre part, des chambres sentent le moisi, et le ménage mériterait un peu plus d’attention (fond des placards sales et poussière sur les murs. Pas de peignoirs dans certaines chambres, pas de chaussons dans d’autres, aucun des deux ailleurs. Lorsqu’on demande une prestation à la réception, elle n’est que rarement suivie d’effet.
Attention : toutes les chambres ne sont pas équipées de portes sur la salle de bain. Ça peut manquer d’intimité pour les wc…
Des soucis d’eau chaude et de pression..
C’est dommage, l’hôtel est joli, et plutôt bien aménagé.
L’eau plate payante au restaurant alors que nous avons deux bouteilles par jour gratuites dans la chambre, ça ne passe pas bien… (enfin…. Toutes les chambres ne sont pas ravitaillées en eau).
