We stayed here in the middle of August 2023, we tried to book direct and they put the phone down on me twice, the air conditioning in our room didn't work it was 35 degrees, the lady at reception said there's nothing she can do and wouldn't move us to another room or fix the air conditioning, but after we called who we booked through we were moved to a different room, despite being told they couldn't change our room by the member of staff at reception. On our last day our cases were stored at the hostel after we'd checked out, at the time we had to get our flight no staff were there, we almost missed our flight due to not being able to get our luggage out the hostel. The lady at reception had a really bad attitude, customer service skills were none existent, but the cleaning staff tried their best and were great. I wouldn't stay here again it spoilt our holiday. ???? There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom extractor fan and it was full of dust. Even our new room they gave us the air conditioning wasn't great the air conditioning system at the hostel is very old and they told us there was nothing they can do.

All good, bit grubby bathtub and no kettle in the room, bathroom and room was clean, noise from the street wasn't disturbing after a few pints of Guinness. Wi-fi v poor, almost not existing. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Overall v good for the price
