Meinungen HABITAT BOUTIQUE HOTEL Catane

Vi bokade ett De luxe dubbelrum. Det var ett rymligt rum med takfönster. Ljust, rent med välfylld minibar. Nackdelen med rummet var att toalett och dusch hade frostad glasvägg med delvis insyn och det kändes inte helt bekvämt. Sängen var något hård. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående. Utflykten som de arrangerar till Etna rekommenderas. Hotellet har en mysig innergård och frukosten mycket bra och Sicilien-inspirerad. Nära till centrum och restauranger. Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse.

great hotel, excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff

???? The location is great. It felt less touristy than other locations but still very close to the centre and to the beautiful Teatro Massimo Bellini. There is a very nice gelateria in the square next to the Theatre as well! The receptionist at the check-in was lovely.
The bed was comfortable.

???? This property is pure visuals. It looks great, it's exactly as it looks in photos but... It's all looks. Our room was not clean. And I'm 100% sure our bed was not made fresh. I knew this just from moving the top cover to show the sheet underneath but then got all the proof I needed when I saw contact lenses on the side of the bed. And a black hair that was not mine. And the sheet was slightly stained.
So... Yeah. And the bathroom wasn't clean either.
Please note this is a very spacious room, super easy to clean so I couldn't come up with a reason why the toilet wasn't spotless or the bathroom sink had little hairs and stains as well. I did tell this to the receptionists when they asked the typical
"everything was ok?" assuming that everything was ok. One of them left straight away, l assume to speak with the cleaner. The other barely apologised but seemed surprised this had happened so hopefully it was just a one off. One other issue: the smell. I know the building is like 200 years old but at least use some air freshener. But the biggest issue for me wasn't even the sheets not being changed or the smell. It was the breakfast.
EVERYTHING WAS STALE. The cakes, the bread, the biscuits. The fruit was bitter. The juices tasted strange. It was the worst breakfast l've ever had at a hotel and l've stayed in over 100. We were so disappointed to have a horrible breakfast in such a lovely looking place and to be fooled by photos of the "organic, fresh" food they supposedly serve.
Even the fruit salad had canned fruit!
Also didn't enjoy the ludicrous prices of chocolate and wine in the room. Completely overpriced! And there were ants in the room ????????also we asked for a quiet room because we were very unlucky with the hotels we stayed at in Sicily and we were indeed in a quiet room... Until some guests were checked in to the room next to ours that had the weirdest door with the loudest lock!

A hotel is located in the very city center in a building 500 years old! We were nicely greeted. The hotel is still being renovated (no sound of it). The hotel is stylish, nice breakfast (we stayed for one night), good coffee. I don’t recommend taking the room in the upper floor where there are no windows, just Velux. The rooms there are not very convenient and comfortable. No wardrobe, very small room and it’s not convenient at all even for 1 night stay for two people with luggage. Also, the elevator doesn’t reach the upper floor so you should be super careful with the stairs and luggage. The room was however clean.

E' una bellissima struttura in posizione centralissima a Catania in un antico palazzo. Abbiamo soggiornato all"inizio di febbraio ed aveva riaperto proprio allora, dopo una ristrutturazione. Gli spazi sono arredati in modo originale e raffinato, in uno stile moderno che ben si armonizza con lo stile antico del palazzo. Alla reception Nadia e Raffaele sono stati gentilissimi e premurosi e hanno soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza. All'interno del palazzo c'è anche un ristorante veramente ottimo che propone un menù di cucina molto ricercata ed è segnalato dalla guida Michelin. I coradduzzi, la triglia con lenticchie e l'insalata di mare ci sono rimasto veramente impressi per l'equilibrio di sapori. Nel ristorante viene servita anche una ricchissima colazione, ci vorrebbero più giorni per provare tutto. Non ultimo segnalo che c'è un comodo garage utilizzabile dagli ospiti dell' hotel a pochi passi. Ci tornerei sicuramente per visitare la zona, non è il solito hotel come ce ne sono tanti,
è un posto che si ricorda e rende più piacevole la vacanza.

Passando per delle colazioni di qualità abbiamo trovato in Habitat Boutique Hotel la scelta più confortevole per il nostro soggiorno a Catania non per ultimo il servizio di parcheggio privato ha reso un plus a tutta l’esperienza

Obsługa była bardzo miła, przy odbieraniu klucza do pokoju otrzymaliśmy mapę Katanii oraz polecenia co warto obejrzeć czy zobaczyć w mieście. Pokoje były zadbane, niestety ściany są dość cienkie więc słychać rozmowy z sąsiednich pokojów, w pokoju dostępne są zatyczki do uszu. Pokój miał mieć widok na mury Charlesa V, nasz pokój miał widok na dość zaniedbany sąsiedni budynek. Śniadania były dość smaczne akolwiek jeżeli chodzi o wytrawna część niestety ciężko było znaleźć coś dobrego. Chleb był wysuszony a jajecznica zimna. Smaczne były ciasta oraz dżemy. W pokoju znajduje się butelka z wodą oraz butelka wina, niestety nigdzie nie jest jasno wskazane że jest to element mini baru, w pokoju nie są wskazane ceny. Ceny produktów mini baru można sprawdzić poprzez zeskanowanie kodu qr. Nie ma w pokoju zawieszek pozwalających na odmówienie room serwisu. W łazience w naszym pokoju konstrukcją prysznica sprawiała że nie dało się nie zalać częściowo łazienki przez co nie można było swobodnie korzystać z toalety.

Pernottato una notte e mi è bastata.
Sarebbe tutto perfetto se non fosse che in tutto il corridoio camere e bagni la resina terra si è crepata alzata e stuccata alla bene meglio in numerosissimi punti rendendo il tutto poco igienico nelle camere e nei bagni.
Necessario un rapido intervento di ripristino

Right Next to theatro bellini, we had a concert to attend. 3mins to quatro canti, close to restaurants and attractions! Super location. Staff incredible, Nadia was very patient with us even though we knocked to leave our luggages at 7:30am!! Will return 100%

The welcoming receptionist was less than competent. She would not book a tour for us but told us to do so ourselves online. We do not speak Italian and not all sites convert to English. We asked for some help but the only aid was her stating the p/u location was in a nearby town. My wife got very angry at such a ridiculous statement and another hotel rep apologized, took over, and found an ideal tour of Mr Etna for us and the p/u was outside the hotel. Furthermore the same incompetent rep had given us a map and directions to the nearby attractions. We followed the instructions and quickly became lost. After some reorientation we discovered the rep was not as fluent in English as she thought as her right was actually left.
This hotel does not provide bottled water nor a box of tissues. Moreover we were not allowed to fill our bottles with water in the dining hall. We also did not get any extra towels as we requested. The breakfast is sparse and in a dining area with rows of tables and bench seats -more like a mess hall. We were not able to have dinner at the hotel as they had booked the kitchen for a private event.
The hotel arranged a taxi to take us to the airport. The cost was 45 euros for a 15 minute ride.
There are many hotels in Catania.

Ottima location, emulazione tra eccellenze che si alternano alla reception, in particolare Nadia, da consigliare x prima colazione ricca di sapori locali e raffinate preparazioni.

My partner and I had been travelling for about six weeks before staying at Habitat Boutique Hotel. As we approached the location, we wondered about the accommodation. Habitat turned out to be the best place we've stayed. Inspired design, comfortable room, brilliant dining room and exceptional service. Highly recommended.

O locație liniștită cu oameni amabili și primitori, merită să îi calci pragul, dacă vizitezi Catania...Mic dejun, magnific,cu prăjituri minunate...
