Das Prytania Park Hotel ist ein 2-Sterne-Hotel. Es befindet sich in idealer Lage in einem lebhaften Einkaufsviertel, nur wenige Meilen von den Restaurants der Bourbon Street entfernt und in der Nähe des National World War II Museums. Das Hotel verfügt über freundliche Zimmer mit einer entspannten Atmosphäre, die mit einem Flachbildfernseher, einer Mikrowelle, kostenlosem WLAN sowie Tee- und Kaffeezubehör ausgestattet sind. Einige Zimmer verfügen außerdem über einen Mini-Kühlschrank und/oder einen Balkon. Die Unterkunft verfügt über einen Innenhof, in dem sich die Gäste entspannen können. Das Frühstück ist im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen und das Hotel bietet auch kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Zimmer sind für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität zugänglich.

Cons
-landscaper's tools going at 9am (not pleasant to be woken up to that, you can hear everything outside of the door)
-breakfast ends at nine am (I think it's weird as NOLA is a notorious party city... if you're out partying late, don't count on the hotel breakfast, just bring your own)
-there was mold on the shower curtain, but I wipes mine down and opened it up every time I took a shower to let the water dry off. NOLA is in a swampy area, so you do have to actively think about how you're combating mold and mildew anywhere here.
-the wardrobe in our room had a funky gym sock smell, so I wasn't able to hang my clothes.
Overall a pleasant experience, and I would come and stay here again. Just make sure you bring some breakfast items if you're gonna party all night in the Quarter and miss breakfast. And make sure to air out the shower curtain- you're in a swamp, so be proactive about fighting mold and mildew. This place is in a well-lit area and a more residential party of the Garden District. There are homeless people a few blocks down, they really don't bother you when you're out and about (not aggressive at all-coming from a female traveler).
