Super mooi hotel en kamer ook. Eten was heerlijk en personeel was ook geweldig. Helaas het zwembad niet gevonden tot 2x toe. Wel in het andere hotel het binnen Senna gezien. Zag er prachtig mooi uit. Houd er rekening mee als je ontbijt boekt bij je verblijf dat je eerst een wandeling moet maken. Gelukkig is roomservice gratis en super fijn. Al met al waren het top dagen en zit het hotel super centraal. Van uitgaan tot winkelen en hele fijne eetgelegenheden.

Oh my...where to start!!! 2 stars only for the hotel amenities, room decoration and staff friendliness.
The Hugo's Boutique hotel is located in middle of Paceville surrounded of several discos/bars with extremely loud music until 5h, 7 days a week!!!
It's like trying to sleep inside a disco and the base sound shakes the walls of the room. Independently of the room and floor that you stay.
After complaining in the reception they gave us ear plugs!!! We couldn't sleep at all, even with noise cancelling headphones.

The next day we were moved to another hotel from the chain only after complaining to the travel agency. It was slightly better but also very noisy as all the area around St. George Bay! The same happened to other guests during our stay. Perfect if you want to party, a nightmare if you want to rest.

It's quite disturbing to see so many fake/bot reviews regarding this hotel.

We are not pleased to see your dissatisfaction, and we are sorry for not being able to offer you a more peaceful time. As you could see, the hotel is situated in a very vibrant entertainment area, which leaves us with limited options when it comes to noise problems, but we did try our best and offered the best thing available at the moment - it was our attempt to make your stay better. Unfortunately, such a review is kind of a proof that it was not successful, too bad.

On the other hand, we are grateful for your nice mentions about our rooms, designs and the staff - which is the most important part of any service.

To be honest, for us is quite disturbing that despite the efforts to reach you and assist you, you still left our properties believing that we only helped because you had complained to the agency (the email from the company was received after you had taken the new room). Also, we feel that it is not so ethical to claim that our good reviews are fake, but all in all, let us not keep long on that.

We still thank you for your review and hope to have an opportunity to welcome you during a quieter period in the area. It would be very nice to have an opportunity to improve your impression.

Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service. We've enjoyed the infinite pool, the spa and the food at Hugo's Hotel. Just has it all! Definitely the hotel to stay when in Malta.

The hotel is modern, chic and has the best location. Breakfast was fantastic and the rooftop pool has an amazing view.Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Stayed for 2nights for our honeymoon and thanks to Teo for the the room recommendation and for looking after us during our stay. The amenities and the room was lovely especially the black and gold theme.

Most beautiful hotel i have ever visited! Its located in the heart of the st.julians (for me its the most beautiful city in the island), 2 mins from hop on hop off buses, from the bay and for many restaurants, bars, shopping mall! The design of the hotel is fantastic, the rooms are crystal clears and the breakfast was very tasty and gave you many many options to select!
Last but not least, litterly all people of the staff were more than polite and helpful! We enjoyed our staying here! We will definetely come again!

L' hotel è molto bello e non manca di nulla tuttavia per quello che si paga il servizio andrebbe migliorato, non puoi mandare a fare le camere un uomo perché fa solo danni (lenzuolo macchiato, camera rifatta alle 16:00 perché glie l' ho detto 2 volte, lenzuolo macchiato buttato da me per terra per farmelo cambiare e rimesso sul letto come se nulla fosse è inaccettabile!!!!), segnalo però alcuni del personale molto bravi e cortesi The ed Eleonora su tutti.

BEWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS!!! You’ll either see very negative, or fake positive. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in during a 3 month Europe trip. Cockroaches, shower leaks into room, eletronics dont work, service is TERRIBLE, can’t sleep for a minute at night because of the INSANE NOISE, cleaners don’t clean the room. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!

Unfortunately, we could not find any records of your complaints in our reports so we are not able to provide further information on the same.

We can, however, apologize in case we missed on anything while you were our guests, and we will take action to improve our efficiency, which is always our aim - to become better.

On the other hand, it was not nice for us to read your claims about some fake reviews, especially as we believe nobody should have such a serious accusation, with no proofs. We would not feel so comfortable to post anything similar online, under any circumstances.

Don’t stay here. It’s all a dishonest practice, none of what they advertise is true. Like all other guests, we were rebooked to another hotel ‘h hotel’ and had to stay there for 2 nights of 5 in August before we found another hotel not affiliated with this disaster. The entire ‘establishment’ is frequented by shady people (look up the history of the street and the hotel and you’ll find there have been several serious crimes here). The worst part was the noise, for two nights we didn’t sleep and the hotel refused to move us to the tower we booked always saying we had to wait for the general manager - this is all a lie, they just keep blowing you off. Avoid unless you want to ruin your trip

Please accept our apology if some of our team members did not explain some things accurately and left you under impression we did not want to assist you.

Based on your comments, it is pretty clear that the location of the property was not suitable (the center of Maltese nightlife and the main point of the entertainment district), however, the hotel made sure to put this information on the website and inform our clients in advance about the same.

Unfortunately, even though we have double glazed protection, none of our rooms is completely quiet, as there are plenty of happenings just around the corner.

All in all, it is a shame that we did not leave a better impression, and should you consider coming again during a less busy moment in the area, please do not hesitate to contact us before. Our team would love to do their best to offer an enjoyable time.

Guys, this site has added unverified reviews and blocks the ability to add real photos of the hotel. It is in poor condition and requires renovation.

Abbiamo pagato una stanza più di €300 a notte, per un totale di tre notti.
La seconda sera rientrando in camera c'erano scarafaggi ovunque, persino tra le lenzuola. Ci hanno sistemato in un'altra stanza per la notte dove non siamo più riusciti a dormire. Il giorno dopo abbiamo chiesto il rimborso delle ultime due notti e ci hanno detto di fare la richiesta su booking.
Siamo scappati all'Intercontinental dove abbiamo dormito tutto il tempo per recuperare le energie.
Dopo più di un mese non ci hanno voluto rimborsare niente, né la notte a cui abbiamo rinunciato ne quella in cui per colpa di problemi di pulizia e di igiene non abbiamo potuto neanche dormire.
Ricorreremo ad un avvocato chiedendo non solo il risarcimento per quelle due notti, ma anche per aver rovinato la vacanza, per la notte pagata in un altro albergo e per la vera e propria truffa di non volerci neanche rimborsare.
Mai successo nulla di simile.
Sporchi, scorretti e ladri!

AGGIORNAMENTO il balcone non era aperto e il concierge che era lì di notte lo sa perché è salito con noi. Abbiamo richiesto il rimborso di due notti (una per non aver dormito e l'altra per aver fatto prima il checkout) e non ne avete rimborsata nessuna! Per di più avete trattenuto il deposito chiesto la prima sera.
Inutile che rispondete così, basta leggere le pessime esperienze degli altri ospiti per capire che è il vostro modus operandi.
Inoltre la recensione negativa è il nostro unico strumento per dare voce alla nostra storia. Invece voi avete barattato il silenzio con un rimborso (di una sola notte).
Visto la poca collaborazione abbiamo già contattato uno studio legale per il rimborso anche dei danni.

We are really sorry about your dissatisfaction with our services, it is very unfortunate that you had to experience an insect in your room even though we took all the precaution to prevent anything like that to happen, including regular PEST controls and highest level of hygiene.

Nevertheless, we are not able to prevent the same from appearing through the open balcony door, and we sincerely apologize for that. We were hoping that you would appreciate the effort of our staff to assist you and offer different rooms until the end of your stay.

Our aim is to always offer the most convenient solution, even in the most uncomfortable situations. To our surprise, you decided to check-out and we initially offered a partial refund, for your satisfaction. After you demanded more compensation and posted very negative reviews online, we realized that this conversation was not a successful one, and we were forced to stop it.

Anyways, we would like to kindly advise you that we again treated all of the rooms, just to be on the safe side and we honestly hope to welcome you again and improve your current impression.

Dopo avere pagato una suite per tre notti, dopo la prima notte, rientrato in camera, ho trovato scarafaggi a terra e sul letto e, visto che il responsabile la notte dorme, il portiere di notte ha spostato nella camera accanto me e la mia compagna, capirete che non abbiamo dormito perché proprio accanto e con la paura di trovarne altri. La mattina dopo, a mie spese, ho prenotato un altro hotel e nonostante chiedessi il rimborso della notte passata insonne in una stanza di emergenza e la notte che restava, proprio a causa della mia recensione veritiera, in modo assolutamente illegale, non hanno rimborsato nulla e cercano arrampicarsi sugli specchi nel giustificare la presenza di scarafaggi alla finestra lasciata aperta o a chissà a quale altra bugia.
Se avete intenzione scegliere un buon Hotel…
Ascoltate un cliente (che è anche un medico) evitate questo…

Dit waren hele goeie 8 dagen! Hotel was netjes en personeel was overal (ook in de restaurants in de buurt) erg aardig en behulpzaam. Bij dit hotel zat een heerlijke rooftop zwembad. Locatie van het hotel was ietsjes minder. Zit midden op de strip dus dat betekend voor de mensen die hier van houden, veel uitgaansgelegenheden. Deze muziek hoor je ook in de kamer. Verder zit je overal erg centraal en was het echt genieten!!

Se ci si trova a Malta per una vacanza estiva non si può non visitare la piscina all’ultimo piano dell’Hugo’s. Esperienza unica grazie ad un panorama mozzafiato con il quale si vede la spiaggia principale e non solo.Grande punto di forza è la possibilità di fare accedere alla piscina non solo i clienti dell’hotel ma anche normali visitatori/ospiti, pagando semplicemente l’entrata.
Drink di buon livello con prezzi un po’ alti, ma dopo tutto essendo un hotel a quattro stelle può anche starci. Vi consiglio vivamente di fare un tuffo in questa splendida piscina con vista!

Guest check in was so pleasant as we were very early and had to wait for our room. We were told we could us the pool as we waited. The pool was beautiful and lovely views. It could of used a bit of cleaning the pool itself... The staff in the pool area from Amika, Joston, Jibon and Krishan were amazing! Remembered your room number and were so friendly! It seems they have a shortage of towels as it was hard to get clean towels. When they serviced the room they only would leave one towel. The rooms are very swanky and dark so you can definitely loose track of the time in the morning. The breakfast that is included was delicious! It's definitely not for kids and the noise level at night is a bit loud. Also hard to get in and out of the pool as they don't have stairs and no railings.

The only good aspect is the localization.
The service is awful . They don't clean up the rooms. I asked 3 times
Clean towels that disappeared from the room.
In the spa they don't have also avaiable towels. You have to go to the reception completely wet after take an elevator to get them.

The reception is the same of nothing.
Obs:H hotel is the same owner. They are connected.
I recomend staying at Be hotel just in front and newer.
Never again.

Nous avons payé une soirée dans cet hôtel mais l’accès nous y a été refusé. Ils n’ont pas souhaité nous rembourser. Le personnel sur place n’est absolument pas compréhensif et complètement fermé à la discussion. Hôtel à fuir !

J’ai fais une soirée sur le rooftop de l’hôtel, vraiment très déçu, très mauvaise organisation (attente 1h pour prendre l’ascenseur), les doses d’alcool au bar sont ridicule on doit être sur 1,5 cl par verre, les serveuses sont pas agréable, piscine dans un état pitoyable, courage aux familles qui iront s’y baigner demain, c’est la pire soirée que j’ai fais un malte durant mon séjour
