Odd rooms. Front desk person was cold, cranky. Very noisy due to traffic outside.

Very quaint little spot.
Boutique is perhaps a generous term here.
About what you’d expect from a roadside motel. Seems like it’s been there a long time and had several makeovers.

The shower was great (although set up for very short people - my tall husband said that it was installed by a leprechaun). Also no electric outlet for shaving or hair dryer (supplied) in the bathroom- it’s that vintage.

There was no sign of coffee anywhere although there was a snack basket on top of the microwave with chips and granola bars.
Great little fridge and freezer that worked better than most.

Bed was ok.
A bit noisy on the side of the small highway there - we left the bathroom fan running all night and it mitigated the traffic noise nicely.

Rooms were cozy, clean and affordable. Came with water and snacks. Quiet premises, located close to lots of restaurants, the river, and downtown. Quaint decorations, and the staff, Mike and Charlie are friendly and accommodating. There is also coffee and breakfast sweets in the office.

Very clean and room felt like home, sheets smelled wonderful like Downy Fabric Softener! Very quiet, no outside noises. Guy at the front desk that checked me in was super nice and very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again!!

Very happy we decided to stop by and check it out stayed 2 nights very reasonable price and the employees are extremely nice just overall great feeling about this place definitely going to stay again also love the way they decorated the place left me with a good feeling like a fl keys feeling anyway left happy love the place !!

Very nice, clean and nicely decorated small room for two. There is a small refrigerator and microwave. Comfortable bed. Convenient location for us to stay for one night. Check-in without problems

It's a wonderful "retro" style motel that is well maintained and clean. The owners are still working on a few things to bring it up to perfect but the property and rooms are neat and tidy. You're right on 301 but we heard very little noise from our room. It is very close to city square and easily walkable. The best part though are the gentlemen running it. They are extremely personable and accommodating - sincerely trying to make everyone feel at home and welcomed to their establishment.

This was the cutest and most comfortable place I've ever stayed it also reminded me of the old time movies with Lucille Ball and Raquel Welch and the James Bond movies the quaint little Motel where everybody stayed it was so cool it made me want to open my own that's how much I love staying in that hotel I will stay there every time I go to Ocala to be with my granddaughter because that is the sweetest place it was comfortable you didn't have nobody bothering you I give that a 10 star the owners were nice and very helpful it was a very very pleasant and peaceful place to stay

I have stayed there on several occasions and each room is as comfortable as the next. Each room is decorated differently. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Michael, at the front is very
Welcoming and accomidating. I will stay here every time I am in Ocala.

Shamrock exceeded expectations. Firstly, location was so close to all the downtown bars and restaurants making it easy to walk everywhere. Secondly, the room was clean, great decor and furniture. Had AC, a fan and a cute little fake flame heater. There were extra blankets if needed, fridge/freezer and microwave as well as some complimentary water, snacks, soap and shampoo. Good size modern TV and enough space for table and chairs made for a comfortable time getting some work done on my laptop. The shower was also great, lots of power and multiple settings. Reception were super speedy and helpful and got me in my room straight away. Lastly, wow the mattress, soft but firm, very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Starbucks and a Cuban restaurant next door although they also had coffee available at reception. Amazing value and highly recommended, 5 stars from me ???? ???? ???? ???? ????

We were exhausted from driving 13 hours, we were traveling to Ft. Myers Beach, Fla from Indianapolis, In and we searched and searched and could not find a place to stay anywhere. My son came upon this place.. he called, rooms available, he made a reservation, we arrived and all 4 of us absolutely "LOVED" this amazing, quaint little place! The staff is so very kind, caring, professional and polite and will carry on a conversation with you which made us all feel like we mattered. We were here 4 years ago (12-27-19..I believe) and I had forgotten about writing a review until this came up in my Google as to where and when I traveled on a specific dates and certain years, soooo I searched to where I could leave a review and finally found it! I would definitely send every person I know traveling through Ocala, Fla to stop in and stay here..the prices for the rooms are very affordable! The rooms were amazing, it was kind of like taking you back to country living but a bit more fancy.! I/we will return sometime in the future to Shamrock Cove. If there was a way to give a 10 star review I definitely would without hesitation! Thank you for making our stay spectacular and thank you for your wonderful hospitality and kindness. You really care about those who stay here!

Calling this a "historic inn" is a stretch but the room was good for the price. A bit small but good.
The best part of this hotel is by far the guy who works in the office. I'm horrible at names, I want to say Adam but I'm not sure? He had a very nice long beard. Anyways, he was great. So friendly and hard working.

Oh, my God, I probably can't say enough Good things about this place, It's a very cute motel stay at. The rooms were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
