Die Spezialität des Hauses ist Fisch, der aufwendig zu einem Eintopf verarbeitet wird, der Korčulanska popara. Es gibt auch Risotto mit Hummer, der mit Cognac übergossen wird. Jedes Jahr kommen neue Rezepte auf die Speisekarte und für diejenigen, die Fleisch bevorzugen, gibt es immer ein Steak, gegrilltes Lamm oder Schweinerippchen! Marko hat eine zweite Taverne namens Dubravka eröffnet, die nicht weit entfernt liegt.

Wonderful location and we had an excellent dinner. The staff is very friendly and all dishes were so well prepared. The wine was chosen by the gentleman who served us and it went down very nicely so we had 2 bottles. Thank you for my liquor ???? at the end of the dinner, although had no idea what I was given but it was delicious ????. Highly recommended this restaurant if you are around the area.

Superbe accueil par le patron alors qu’il n’y avait plus de place ; très bonnes viandes et excellent poisson. Très bon conseil sur un rosé que je vous recommande qui est, selon le serveur, aussi bon que le Miraval.

To begin with, our party included two children aged 5 and 7 who, as children often do, expressed a preference for pizza instead of fish. This reasonable request was met with nothing short of disdain by the waiter. His arrogance and sheer disregard for our needs were made painfully evident through his offensive body language and a tone that bordered on rudeness. He audaciously informed us that bringing pizza to the restaurant was out of the question and then gestured towards the exit as if he couldn't wait to usher us out.
As if that weren't enough, when we inquired about the possibility of sharing two larger dishes of big fish, we were met with further hostility. The waiter seemed to relish engaging in arguments, even over the most trivial matters. It was truly astonishing how someone in their fifties-sixties could exhibit such a dismal attitude towards customers.
Compounding our misery was the fact that we had arrived at the restaurant by boat, making it inconvenient to simply leave. Our boat's captain had made the reservation, leaving us in a bind. With a heavy heart, I had to leave my wife and friends behind at this nightmare of an establishment, while I embarked on a desperate quest to find an alternative dining option for my hungry children.
Ultimately, we found solace in another restaurant nearby, where the staff was accommodating, respectful, and most importantly, willing to serve the food our children desired. It was an experience that highlighted just how out of touch the fish restaurant's service was in comparison to other establishments on the same islands.
Having traveled extensively in Croatia and visited numerous places, I can unequivocally state that this was the single worst encounter I've had. The level of disregard for customer satisfaction, especially in a country known for its hospitality, was truly disheartening. I implore anyone reading this review to spare themselves the agony and avoid this restaurant at all costs. There are countless other dining options available on these islands that will treat you with the respect and consideration you deserve as a paying customer.
