Nous venons de séjourner 4 jours fin.juillet 2023. Nous devrions.avoir une chambre supérieure vue mer .après avoir attendu 15 mn sous 40 degrés la navette de l hôtel...qui ne fait strictement que les allers retours arrivée/départ...
Une hôtesse débordée par 6 familles énervés arrivées depuis 11h et qui n avait pas leur chambre avant 15h...on nous a proposé la chambre 408 !!!! Allez la visiter!!!! C est aux antipodes des photos glamour du site de l hôtel....les matelas sont poses sur la pierre comme dans une chambre troglodyte et de surcroît un côté du lit est collé au mur....vue sur poubelles et fils électriques....j ai mis des photos sur trip advisor et encore je n ai pas pu tout mettre...ensuite en.lot de consolation on nous a proposé la 405 : une soit disant junior suite (rien à voir avec les photos de booking) vu l heure , nous sommes restés car on voulait un peu profiter...tout en prévenant notre agence de voyage en France afin que l on nous installe dans la chambre réservée à l initial....ce qui n arriva pas...en guise de consolation....la manageuse fantôme nous a offert 2 massages que nous avons refusés bien sur ....c est se moquer de monde !!!
Nous n avons pas dépensé un euro de plus dans cet hôtel....manganary beach et mylopotas beach avec de bons matelas ont avantageusement remplacé l hôtel . Drakos et salt ont été de formidables endroits pour dîner et dejeuner
Qq détails : piscine du haut =>très peu de transat, pas de parasol, échelle d accès à la piscine rouillée, eau sale et vitres autour très sales
Des jeunes non habillés se promènent dans tout l hôtel et de nuit , saouls crient......
Seulement 3 tables possibles pour avoir un peu de climatisation et sans vue et avec une table de billard ...
Musique très forte constante dans la piscine du bas avec pas assez de transats ni de parasols
Petits déjeuners correct sans jus d Orange frais (ce que nous avons actuellement dans un vrai 4 étoiles à Naxos )
Araignées , fourmis sur la terrasse pendant tout le séjour
On doit brancher en alternance la machine à café ou la lampe car 1 prise.....
Eau que froide le 1er jour..pour tout l hôtel.....
.joints salle de bain sales et évacuation rouillée ( j ai fait les photos de tout )
Lampe au dessus du lit cassee
Personnel très jeunes et inexpérimenté

Bref ABSOLUMENT PAS UN 4 ETOILES
La 405 et 408 sont en total contraste avec les photos glamour du site....c est une honte !
A notre retour, nous ferons le compte rendu détaillé à la direction générale du groupe tellement nous sommes mécontents et nous demandons un remboursement de moitié à notre agence de voyage . Jamais nous n avons eu un si mauvais service........

5 star experience overall. They called to confirm my arrival the day before. An employee of the hotel was waiting at the port upon our arrival. The rooms were excellent. Spacious, comfortable beds and nice size balcony. Breakfast was excellent offering several options to choose from. This hotel is located on the best beach in Ios and 5-10 minute drive to main town. You will have excellent views from your balcony. My highest commendations go to the staff. Extremely friendly and very helpful when needed. Really good bartending staff as well. Excellent cocktails and very approachable. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Ios.

I must confess that I was a little worried after reading some recent bad reviews about the hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, the view and location The view from the hotel is wonderful, and the location is perfect, just a few steps from Mylopotas Beach. Also, the bus stop is a few steps from the hotel and costs €1.60 to go to the center of Chora. The breakfast was excellent too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room cleaning took place every day. The hotel offers a transfer service from Porto for €5 per person each way. Some places in the hotel really smelled like sewage, but that didn't lower my rating. I know it's disruptive, but it's a hotel in the middle of an island, in the middle of the Mediterranean. I don't know if there's much they can do in terms of maintenance, you know? Take note that the hotel (and surrounding area) has a lot of cats. I know it's easy for me to say since I'm a cat lover, but cats just need love and food. If you can, it costs less than €3 for a pack of cat food on the market. Help the kittens. I'm giving one less star just because of the restaurant. We had a problem with the order, which was wrong, but they apologized. But it is also an extremely expensive risotto dish with very little portion of food. You will find much better options at restaurants on the beach and in the center of Chora.
