Schönes Hotel mit makellosen, mit Terrasse eingerichteten Zimmern und preiswerten Suiten.
Die Zimmer sind auf der Caldera gebaut und bieten einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer und den Vulkan. Sie sind makellos, mit Charme und Einfachheit dekoriert und bieten jeglichen Komfort (private Terrasse, Pool an den Hängen der Caldera...). Die Suiten sind im Winter preiswert. Das Personal kümmert sich um alles, ist aufmerksam und effizient, sehr professionell , aber dennoch herzlich. Es ist ein schönes Hotel, ideal für eine Hochzeitsreise.

The staff are not helpful and quite lazy. For the price our expectation was far greater than we got. Same breakfast each day, breakfast was cold, additional charges for cappuccino coffee or coffee outside of a small list. Received only one bottle of water complimentary across our 3 night stay. No staff by the pool to assist you with food orders, towels or general service. The sun beds and cushion material get so hot that you need multiple towels to protect yourself.
Yes, the view is great - but they price according to the view only as their service is incredibly poor. Staff expect tips for everything despite, in our view paying a significant premium to stay at this hotel.
Non smoking hotel - yet staff were smoking in front of us.
The room was fine - no issues or complaints.
Our advice is to stay next door at Alfina - friends stayed there (which was cheaper) but had none of these issues. We ended up leaving a day early.

If you are debating staying Fira or Oia, I think both are reasonable options. Oia will have slightly nicer views (classic blue topped roof, etc), but prices will be much more expensive, with smaller rooms, etc. We just took the bus for 1.60 euro to Oia, took our photos, etc. You can also do the hike from Fira to Oia which I highly recommend.
Overall fantastic experience.
