HÔTEL PLAYA SUR TENERIFE ^{* * *}

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend so it was my first time staying there. It’s a very clean place, and the rooms seem to have been renovated recently. Everything looks neat, breakfast was great, location I cannot complain at all, since it suited my needs perfectly - came there to surf. I like the fact, you are offered a surf box (10€/day) that is literally at the beach (you exit the place through a door and then it’s probably around 30m to the water). All the staff starting from the reception (hello Susi!) to the cleaning people and last but not least the waiters were super friendly and attentive. The above mentioned breakfast is plenty enough to get you started for a day of surfing. The restaurant was really amazing. Location wise it’s well situated for surfing, but if you want to go downtown El Medano it’s a nice stroll on the boardwalk. Supermarket can be reached in under 10min. Overall I can say, I loved every minute of my stay! Yes it might not be the cheapest compared to other hotels, BUT you’re getting the whole package for what you pay.

I stayed there end of November, so I cannot complain about non-existing air condition since I even slept with the windows open, as the relatively warm blanket required it.

Le personnel d'accueil est incroyable ! Nous avons pu discuter longuement avec Suzie, qui est vraiment adorable, nous ne la remercierons jamais assez ❤️
Les chambres sont bien décorées (premier étage pour nous) dans une ambiance cool. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'ambiance simple de l'hôtel. Il y a un endroit où on peut laisser ses bagages si on arrive en avance ou si on part tard donc c'est vraiment génial!
J'ai aussi aimé le petit déjeuner et le restaurant. (8h à 10h)
Il y a de jolies fenêtres vues sur l'océan dans les escaliers, et dans certaines chambres. Et certaines, vues sur le jardin, avec une petite terrasse. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la terrasse.
Il y a des fauteuils a l'intérieur ou au bord de la piscine pour se reposer en dehors des chambres.

The location of this hotel is amazing, right on the beach, everything was clean, good breakfast choices, the reception staff was amazing, especially the afternoon lady, she was so helpful and nice., I wish the restaurant menu ,had some smaller snacks for the daytime,lunch
menu,instead of only the main menu.
The chicken curry I had was amazing.
I would stay here again,

Plutôt bien situé en bord de plage, les chambres ne sont pas récentes mais bien entretenue et propres, l'isolation n'est pas terrible.
L'accès sans voiture n'est pas conseillé car en retrait du centre.
Petit déjeuner très copieux
Petit bémol quand même concernant les places de parc qui sont surchargées car prises d'assaut pas les surfeurs. Se parquer peut vite devenir un problème.
Internet lent, mais accès
Qualité/prix très bien
