Fantastic location with a fabulous view of the sea, the Alghero lungomare and the Capo Caccia. I strongly recommend the rooms designated as “frontal sea view” as the others are either sidewise or further deep in the background, overlooking the swimming pool and the sea from farther distance. The breakfast was excellent, good choice of great quality food, plus real orange juice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Attractively located bar with a great terrace and even more spectacular views.

Horrible experience! If you're looking for a nice, 5-star holiday, do yourself a favor and don't book this place. I'm baffled at how they can call themselves 5 star when it was mostly 3 star in terms of service, quality, and hospitality. I'm even doubting that the positive reviews are even genuine or just marketing. First, when we arrived, no one helped with the luggage, the guy at the reception who was quite unpleasant just sat there and smiled at us while we had to drag our own suitcases. First red flag. Then, we notice the bed in the room is not a double, but instead two twin beds just put together and of course with a hole in the middle that you can totally feel when you're laying. Another thing, there was no duvet, only a sheet. When we asked the same guy at reception, he said that only some rooms have duvets (I've never seen this in my life in a 5-star establishment) and then I ironically asked, are all the rooms 5-stars or some are maybe 4 or less?! Then we had to ask for bathrobes which were also not provided. The breakfast was nothing special, cold eggs, found a hair in one of the fruit plates (you can see the photo). The hallway going to the gym looked like a scene from some horror movie, with humidity stains on the ceiling and smell that was really unwelcoming. The gym itself is super outdated, cold, with one machine not even working, the toilets were closed (due to covid?!?), so the exercise wasn't as pleasant as you would expect. One of the last nights, because they put us in an adjoining room, another people came to the room next to us, and probably opened their balcony door so the wind was coming in from underneath the door and it was getting quite cold. When we went to complain, the same guy at reception was very unprofessional and said they're fully booked. After some time, nothing changed in the room, so we went down again, this time insisting to speak to his manager. He said they will contact us soon and they did, so after our talk, they moved us in another room, which also had twin beds, and no duvet. We asked for a duvet, and they brought us one for a single bed. At this point, it couldn't believe the amount of unprofessionalism and attention to detail. The hygiene overall was not great, the decor in the rooms very old-fashioned and not in a good way. The bathroom products in old, scratched bottles, and plastic cups in bags. This hotel is a joke and they seriously need to do big renovations and work on their customer relations. Maybe even go visit an actual 5-star hotel so they can get an idea of what it means in reality, not just in their delusional world. Absolutely disappointing experience and I wouldn't recommend at all!

Una bellissima esperienza...

La personne de l'accueil a été peu agréable. A l'arrivée, aucune aide pour décharger les bagages. Une fois arrivés dans la chambre, pas de peignoirs et surtout pas de duvet (une simple couverture en nylon) qu'il a fallu négocier car soit-disant ce dernier était réservé à une catégorie supérieure de chambre.
L'isolation phonique avec la chambre d'à coté était catastrophique si bien qu'il a fallu passer par le manager, très professionnel, pour résoudre le problème car la même personne de l'accueil n'a pas du tout été coopérative.
La salle de sport est une plaisanterie : appareils vétustes dont l'un est cassé mais toujours accessible, pas d'eau ni de vestiaires fermés pour cause de Covid (???). Nous avons donc préféré ne pas payer un spa pour éviter des mauvaises surprises et devoir repasser par ce sinistre individu de l'accueil.
Point positif : le petit déjeuner offre un large choix et le personnel de salle est attentionné.

En conclusion, je ne recommande pas cet établissement. On est loin du 5 étoiles !

Le hall est luxueux.
Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses.
Le restaurant propose des plats à des prix très corrects.
Nous y avons dîné et avons apprécié les plats.
Le personnel est très aimable et professionnel.
Le parking est un plus

Premetto che siamo clienti da anni.
Abbiamo prenotato 2 notti per 3 persone in junior suite e pagato anticipatamente come sempre.
Purtroppo mentre eravamo in viaggio verso Alghero siamo dovuti rientrare a casa per un lutto improvviso. Abbiamo chiamato e la persona della reception è stata gentilissima e ci ha invitato a ricontattare eventualmente per spostare le date.
Nei giorni seguenti abbiamo inviato la mail
per capire almeno se fosse possibile recuperare il soggiorno in altre date.
Capisco perfettamente che non è un problema causato da loro e capisco anche che la politica potrebbe non prevedere né rimborsi né cambio date.
Quello che ritengo poco serio e non degno di una struttura 5 stelle è non rispondere alle email che vengono regolarmente “archiviate” come confermato dalla reception.
Rispondere è cortesia e serietà ricordatelo.

Ottima location, camere pulite e spaziose. Personale di sala e della spa cordiale e gentile.

Definitely liked the place, not beach front, no offered transport from the hotel to the closest beach, closest beach 45min walking, spa area is on extra charge. Liked but would have expected more for 5 stars. Friendly staff, though

Abbiamo provato la SPA e devo dire che ne sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso.
Relax puro nella piscina con vari getti ad idromassaggio, diverse saune con aromi e temperature differenti, ed una stanza dove rilassarsi e farsi delle tisane o camomille.
Consigliatissimo in settimana perché ovviamente ci saranno meno clienti.
Personale veramente professionale ed elegante.

Soggiornato questo fine settimana, la struttura è possente e molto bella, noi abbiamo prenotato una camera vista mare, e n’è valsa la pena! Personale gentile, ma in particolare modo la ragazza che serviva aperitivo e colazione, veramente molto gentile, così come le ragazze della spa.
La spa offre diversi percorsi tra piscina e diversi tipi di saune differenti. Soddisfatti

La spa è una delle più complete che abbiamo mai provato, abbiamo preso una camere vista mare eccellente, riservato e tranquillo. Lo consiglio per un fine settimana di relax con moglie.

Abbiamo prenotato in quest'hotel per festeggiare il compleanno di mio marito. Che dire, siamo stati benissimo. Bellissima la Spa e bravissima la massaggiatrice; la stanza molto silenziosa e pulitissima. L'ambiente è raffinato, elegante, il personale gentile e disponibile. La colazione molto ricca, sia dolce che salata, con una vista mozzafiato sul mare.
Servizi veramente eccellenti , degni di un hotel a 5 stelle. Super consigliato!
