ORIGINS LODGES COSTA RICA

A true hidden gem in the lush wilderness of northern Costa Rica. Our family of three just spent 3 wonderful nights at Origins and were fully immersed in a tropical paradise full of natural wonders and wildlife. Origins allowed us to leave behind our busy lives and really take the time to appreciate our natural surroundings. Our lodge had its own private plunge pool heated by a wood burning fireplace which had spectacular views across the rainforest and into Nicaragua. Our lodge was spacious and clean with an outdoor rainfall shower. The lodge was frequently cleaned and we felt like the Origins staff treated us with great care. An amazing bonus to our experience was the customizable daily itinerary which included a waterfall hike, a medical plant tour, horseback riding, and a night wildlife hike where we spent time speaking with our own personal guides who were so knowledgeable of the land. Included in our stay were 3 delicious meals per day prepared by a very skilled chef who presented diverse flavours and fresh, tasty food. Thank you Origins for a memorable experience and thank you for the birthday decorations and surprise cake - what a lovely and touching surprise!

The arquitectura is amazing, every single detail has been designed to make your experience an unique experience.The personnel is really professional and provides an excellent customer service.
They respect nature and most important the community, helping rural community efforts in the area.
Overall an example to follow that sustainable tourism is possible.

This place is very special! It’s very secluded. You are completely surrounded by nature. It’s so beautiful and peaceful.

All of our meals were delicious and The service was impeccable. All staff was very helpful and friendly.

Hotel offers several on-site adventures all of which are included in the stay and are all private!

Can’t recommend this place enough. We are already dreaming of our return.
