SAFARIS IGUANA DEL MAR

The boat was super clean and the lunch was very tasty. The reason for the 2 stars was for the ambiance. Imagine setting out for a peaceful cruise along the coast just before sunset. Just about 100 yards from the shore, the NONSTOP noise of club thumping music starts. Don't get me wrong, I like all different types of music, but when you are out in the ocean looking for wildlife and admiring the coastline, the music is certainly overwhelming. You could not even talk to the person next to you.

We booked this catamaran trip and it was such a wonderful time! We did the afternoon trip with a gorgeous sunset to finish. The crew were all very courteous, helpful and definitely fun! They have stellar reviews on Google and it clearly shows! Pura Vida ???????? ????

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Tour in die Mangroven. Wir wurden um 05.45 in unserem Hotel superpünktlich abgeholt und in einem kleinen Reisebus zu den Mangroven gebracht. Dort stiegen wir in ein kleines Boot mit 2 anderen Reisenden. Unser Guide William war witzig und hatte ein sehr grosses Wissen über die Pflanzen und Tiere. Uns faszinierte die Natur dort sehr und wir genossen die ruhe in diesen frühen Morgenstunden. Wir sahen kleine Affen von ganz nah und zudem viele Vögel, Fische und natürlich Iguanas. Die Tour empfehlen wir naturinteressierten Personen welche gerne auch etwas über Pflanzen oder kleinere Tiere lernen möchten.
Die Tour wurde mit einem leckeren traditionellen Frühstück und einer Fahrt zurück in das Hotel abgeschlossen.
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und danken William sehr für diese Erfahrung.
Der Preis für diese Tour ist eher teuer jedoch hat man bereits das Frühstück und den Transfer von/bis Hotel dabei!
Wir können die Mangroven Bootstour am frühen Morgen sehr empfehlen.

We went on a Manual António guided tour and our guide - Andres was AMAZING! He was great at capturing the pictures and told us a lot about the wildlife - both animals and vegetation. The tour was about 3 hours in total and well worth it. Many of the animals were hidden in the trees so without his scope we would not have seen. We saw many sloths both 2 and 3-fingered and several monkeys. Thanks!
