DOMUS RENIER
Jahrhundert in Chania niederließen.

Hotel with an excellent location in the old town of Chaina. We liked the clean, modern and comfortable rooms. The staff is particularly friendly and diligent, the breakfast spectacular. Restaurants and boutiques are nearby.
1. There were flies/bug in our room and even flied to our bed. We informed the front desk and she advised to use insecticide to spay our room but we declined it.
2. We had the suite on the first floor which located right above the restaurant/bar. The description of this room on the hotel website was suite with loft and sea view. We didn't expect that the room actually is first facing a restaurant and the water behind. We could still heard their musics and bass sounds till late night. There was a sofa and reading desk upstairs in the loft. But it was too dark to read even in the daytime with the light switched on. So literally we didn't go upstairs as nothing we could do upstairs. This suite was also on the same floor of front desk and breakfast room.
3. Have traveled a lot and been stayed many hotels of 3-5 stars under hot/cold weather. Not a single hotel that the bed didn't come with duvets. When we were about to sleep we found that there was no duvet under the bed runner. Then we gave feedback, the receptionist said "the housekeeping forgot to put the duvet in you room" another staff said "we don't provide duvets. if you don't switch on the air-con. You are good. You don't need it. Just use the bed runner" I was speechless. I thought I stayed at a 4-5 star hotel.
4. The most ungenerous breakfast we ever had in a hotel. You had to pay if you wanna refill anything. Only one coffee and a half glass of orange juice and you get some bread. Then only one main was included and the portion was small (definitely not Greek size).
I don't recommend this hotel as there are plenty of good options nearby.
