Nach dem Innenhof betritt man dieses Luxushotel in der Altstadt, das sich in einer Gasse im Stadtteil Topanas befindet. Die Einrichtung ist besonders erlesen: ein 600 Jahre altes Gebäude, das perfekt im Geschmack der venezianischen Epoche renoviert wurde. Die Suite verfügt über ein Himmelbett und eine Terrasse, die sich zum alten Hafen hin öffnet. Andere Zimmer bieten ebenfalls einen schönen Blick auf das Meer. Der Service ist professionell und angenehm. Der niedliche Innenhof bleibt auch im Hochsommer kühl, was immer angenehm ist, wenn man von einem Tag voller Besichtigungen zurückkommt.

The furniture in the room was a bit outdated, but it was meant to be classic. There was a comfy duvet for winter, which was thick enough to keep me warm.
Olga, the lady who made us breakfast, was such a great host. She was polite and kind. She asked our preference for breakfast. I loved the freshly squeezed juice and the brewed coffee. The beautiful table settings, and she used beautiful glasses and cups, which she took out from a classic kitchen cupboard. I had a glance of their glassware collections, and I saw the photos of their family, too.
The whole stay was memorable. It felt as if I am visiting a friend’s house in overseas that I am not so close to. Highly recommend.
Olga was wonderful, gave us several recs on restaurants (Tamam, for instance) and sights to see. Her English was as good as ours.
The room was spotless and contained antique furniture, a canopy bed, and a small balcony overlooking the small harbor.
Breakfast was very good, with an assortment of fruits, breads, yogurt, and French press coffee.
Definitely recommend.
The Manager, Olga is a treasure , delightful , so willing to assist with lots of questions, re Crete, Car rentals, etc.

It was overlooking the harbour, I had a quiet room which was traditionally furnished and the breakfast was amazing. I was on my own and was made to feel so cared for. It was a wonderful place and took me back in time. - it had a lovely ambiance and was the best place in Chania!
I am a painter and it was perfect and inspiring as a base for Cretan life. I have included a couple of paintings!
