BAGATELLE GARDENHOUSE

If I had the perfect home, this is how it would feel. Beautiful rooms, each with a story of its own, tasteful furniture and lots of art, everywhere you look. For three days I forgot all about my day to day life and left feeling truly refreshed. Every element in the Gardenhouse has been carefully considered, from ethically sourced handmade soaps to the very comfy mattresses. The conscious decision to source so much locally and to have specially commissioned things such as crockery, floor tiles and soft furnishings makes this a truly special place. Best of all is the fact that you can choose your breakfast from the menu of the Bagatelle Bistro next door and have it delivered to you in no time while you sip your freshly made flat white. The location of Gardenhouse is perfect. Great transport links can easily get you to and from all the attractions across the river in Pest while you know you are coming back to a tranquil cocoon. The welcome is very personal and friendly, every need has been considered and it's clear the staff are more like family than team members. It's worth taking a trip to Budapest just to stay at this hotel.

A beautiful place to stay with attentive and friendly staff that provided amazing service. We stayed for three nights while visiting Budapest and this was the perfect place to come back to, especially after a long day of exploring the city. The room was gorgeous and spacious, and the beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - on our last morning we had an early flight to catch so an incredible packed breakfast was ready for us before our departure.
A special thank you to Janka and Vivienne who were so kind, communicative and helpful before and during our stay.
Highly recommend staying with Bagatelle Gardenhouse if you are ever in Budapest.
