Quick summary: the doors are not easy to get open, they were blocked at night and day, the area isn’t save: I got robbed in front if the door and the owner is very very unfriendly.

The whole story:
I arrived late at night around 1am and informed the team about my late arrival. They said I need to come inside through a self check-in and I could call them if I had any problems.

First thing: they didn’t mentioned the self check-in before the booking and I chose it because I thought they have a reception and not self check-in

But OK i thought…. I hate self-check ins..but I will try

Then I arrived at the apartment, used the code but the door didn’t open. I tried to call the owner/team but they didn’t pick up. So I asked two guys on the street to help me. They couldn’t open it as well and in the meantime one of the guys stole my bag with my most valued belongings inside ….so I can say: this area isn’t save at night!!

I called the police, they noted all information and helped me with the door. First they couldn’t open it as well - the door was jammed/blocked. After they pushed it harder the door finally opened.

During my stay this was not the first time the door wasn’t working. It happened the next day with another door and again I needed help from a man to pushed it open. It was broken.

One of the worst things: the owner again didn’t pick up the phone and I had to wait like 1h to get called back eventhough he knew what has happened the night before! All in all he was very unfriendly, didn’t feel sorry about what has happened and even said it was my fault to get robbed. He didn’t admit that his did a mistake in not picking up the phone. He said I expected too much when I was trying to call him at night. So his offer in his mail to reach him anytime and his „24h“ phone service what you can read everywhere in the apartment is a lie!

The only friendly persons in this house have been the cleaning ladies who were very caring and nice. But the people from the reception have been the worst!

If you make a booking half year ago, you will be greeted by the hotel owner one night before your arrival with a big cancellation automated message. NO explanation, NO compensation, NO help. How dare you darling?!

Stayed here one night and was perfect location wise, for the price it is very well situated, clean and simple. I had a single room with shared bathroom and exceeded my needs

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, nette Menschen, zentral, würde es wieder buchen

Viel zu teuer für das, was man bekommt. Die Betten sind sehr unbequem, eher schlechte Schlafcouches, nervige Bettdecken, super dünne Matratzen und ein Lattenrost war kaputt, sodass man in einem Loch lag. Kaum Ausstattung im Zimmer (kein Tisch, niedriger Spiegel, gammeliges Sofa). Es gibt derzeit eine Baustelle, wo schon ca. Ab 08:00 super laut gehämmert und gebohrt wird (waren in Zimmer 10 - bitte nehmt ein anderes Zimmer wenn es geht. Es klang so, als würde gleich die Decke einstürzen). Am Fenster ist überall schwarzer Schimmel. Im Gemeinschaftsbad auch. Da alle Türen super laut sind, kann man nicht gut schlafen. Es fehlen Hinweise für die anderen Gäste, die Türen leise zu bedienen. Die Badezimmertür war aber z.B. kaputt, daher ging das gar nicht leise. Das einzig “okaye” war der tägliche Reinigungsservice, und die Location ist gut - aber am Wochenende ist es mega laut wegen der Partymeile. Wenn einen das nicht stört, geht das aber irgendwie. Es gibt derzeit keine Gepäckaufbewahrung und auf die Klingel reagiert niemand, man muss beim einchecken anrufen (dann bekommt man einen Türcode, aber vorher gibt’s den nicht). Ich würde nicht nochmal hier übernachten und es wirkt online viel besser, als es ist.
