After stayed 6 days at Zafiro, a Very Small hotel (before we arrived, I had no idea, only 8 rooms) my opinion is, it has a LOT of potential (just because of the location) but has an urgent need to change most of the personal that work in, for PROFESSIONAL HOTEL CAREER STAFF.
Other things to keep in mind:
The future guest need to be AWARE that the noise from airplane (landing and take off at the airport that is 50 meters away) is CONSTANTLY and VERY LOUD.
Once the Guest pays the first part of the booking (50%) there is NO Refund. NONE. In ANY CASE.
So, be sure of your decision.
The Good:
-The Beach so close and in front of the room.
-Renato's (Renato Vitorio, the Chef) cuisine: Fenomenal!!
-Alvin, the transport guy, very nice and gentle.
In the Middle:
-Erik, (the Beach attendant) very gentle to receive a request and deliver. The Negative point is, told me if I want to keep at the beach seated on the chair after the times he finish his duty (5pm) I should put it back at place (200 feet away) by myself (which I did everyday for 4 days). In short, I pay, but also need to work.
-Dereka (Reception). Don't smile and don't say, Hello, or Goodmorning, when pass close to you (unless you say it first). We complain to her about the bathroom at the Tortoises Suite needs attention (water linking at the floor, for 6 days, and nothing was done to correct it).
-Mitsha, the girl that attend the tables at night after we beg her, to please, try to be gentle with us (I explained her, that's our vacation) she made a effort to be nice (but don't ask for a smile face).
The Bad:
-Manager, denied us (even that we paid an expensive rate for 6 days All Inclusive) water at the room (according to her, All Inclusive do not include water at the room).
Everyone below this line, act like "they're doing us, the Guest, a favor".
And that's wrong, because the Guest pays in "exchange" to receive a service.
-Nicole (the Owner) was unpolite from the beginning (actually, she was rude).
-Milo the other beach attendant in the afternoon, very rude. At 4pm we request to eat some appetizer at the beach and his answer was: you need to come (to the kitchen) pickup and then you can bring it to the beach.
-Docxy, he bartender at night very unpolite, rude, The last day (maybe, affraid of a bad review) made an effort, but again, without a smile and a polite words.
