Visited the Museum today and was left speechless, this is one of the best WW2 museums that we have ever visited.

On entering the museum, one of the museum curators explained how they acquired the vehicle in the reception and shop area and the story behind it. Absolutely fascinating stuff.

The narration is timed to the exhibits you are viewing and the lights are timed to the narration to illuminate the exhibits.

The diorama in the centre of the museum really is something special, the quality and detail is stunning but the reenactment story of how the area was liberated is amazing.

For such as small village museum that you would innocently drive past, it is well worth a trip and can't recommend it enough.

Accueil au top. Des indications claires et précises. On y apprend énormément, beaucoup d'informations tout cela entouré d'histoires vécues par nos soldats. Je recommande sans l'ombre d'un doute !!!!!

Musée consacré à l'opération Bluecoat menée par l'armée britannique fin juillet début août 1944 dans le bocage normand. Visite audioguidée de 45 minutes avec des animations sonores et lumineuses. Accueil très sympathique. Un musée à découvrir. Entrée 6 euros.

De passage,ce dimanche 28 août :nous avons apprécié l accueil et les informations transmises par le responsable du musée ,les anecdotes concernant les objets exposés ce qui a rendu ce musée très vivant.Grand merci aux vétérans qui ont transmis leurs souvenirs afin que nous gardions en mémoire nous aussi les événements tragiques qui ont eu lieu dans le bocage en 1944

Excellent musée. Se visite en se laissant guider par une bande sonore et les différents éclairages. La maquette de la bataille est très bien faite et très bien expliquée. À faire absolument.

Musée très intéressant, on y parles des hommes venu libéré cette région. Les dioramas sont très bien fait et la documentation présentée de très grande qualité.

Sehr interessante und liebevoll dargestellte Befreiung des Ortes . Das diorama hat uns sehr gut gefallen . Sehr persönlich dargestellt . Der junge Mann am Eingang hat uns alles sehr gut erzählt und war sehr aufmerksam. Es ist auf jeden Fall einen Abstecher wert sich dies anzusehen.
