Vraiment très beau restaurant avec une très belle terrasse. Un accueil et service avenant et professionnel. Cuisine ouverte. Ici vous allez manger de merveilleuse pâte créative et gourmande. Excellent moment. Rapport qualité-prix parfait. Belle carte des vins. A recommander sans modération.

An excellent small hotel built in an old convent. We stayed here for 5 days. The hotel is in the very heart of the Renaissance town of Pienza, in the historic center, 3 minutes' walk from the central square and the cathedral. Around it there are many restaurants and small shops with local delicacies. Access by car is impossible, but the city parking lot is about 200 meters away (3 minutes on foot).
My room was very large, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The service was superb, the staff were always interested in us and our needs. There was some noise in my brother's room and the hotel reception gave him a new room.
The hotel has something like a lounge (they call it a library), there is free prosecco and non-alcoholic drinks there in the evening, there are also alcoholic drinks, and if the client drinks, he must sign up voluntarily so that they will be charged to the room bill (there is no staff). The hotel also has a superb restaurant with a great breakfast (complimentary with rooms), we visited twice for dinner - excellent food both Italian and international and a great selection of wine.
In conclusion: I highly recommend the hotel and I think it is one of the best I have ever been to.

The best vegetarian burger I’ve ever tasted. Everyone else had a meat dish which was also very good but I had to comment on the burger as it was delicious.

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Tuscany. The food is great and creative, portions are not too big which lets you try different dishes, the wine list is very rich. Tiramisu is definitely a must try!

Un locale unico a Pienza e meno male che c’è! Direi che questo team di giovani ristoratori ha proprio fatto centro mettendo in piedi una location fantastica, bella, rilassante, stilosa e senza assolutamente perdere il contatto con il territorio MERAVIGLIOSO in cui sono! Dal punto di vista della loro offerta culinaria devo dire che io e la mia compagna siamo veramente usciti estasiati e soddisfatti. Un menu unico, originale, creativo e frizzante e, come detto prima, ancorato alle materie prime, agli ingredienti e ai fornitori del territorio. Il tutto poi viene rielaborato e riproposto su piatti unici nel panorama di Pienza, ma direi in tutta la Val d’Orcia! Infatti in due settimane, questo è il quindicesimo ristorante diverso che noi proviamo e, come abbiamo idee molto chiare su chi assegnare la corona per la miglior trattoria, così è evidente che la Bandita si meriti il premio per il miglior ristorante innovativo della zona, ovviamente a nostro parere.
Noi abbiamo cenato all’esterno apprezzando il bellissimo contesto in cui ci trovavamo e se il vento si alza...nessun problema, il servizio premuroso ed efficiente è pronto a fornire delle calde coperte per riscaldarsi.
Il menu è asciutto, essenziale e assolutamente basato su materie prime del territorio, ma scordatevi i pici, i crostoni, i taglieri e i pecorini fusi, ma aprite la mente, e lo stomaco, all’innovazione e alla creatività. Noi lo abbiamo fatto e abbiamo preso una fantastica Crema di panzanella con gambero rosso dove mancava solo una cosa: un altro gambero rosso!, mentre io ho preso una superlativa tartare di chianina con uovo di quaglia, cocomero (abbinamento incredibilmente azzeccato) e yogurt. A seguire abbiamo entrambi preso un fantastico hamburger di chianina con pecorino e maionese alla mente fatta da loro. Semplicemente superbo! Come dolce io mi sono preso il loro piatto di formaggi, mentre la mia fidanzata si è fatta tentare dal loro semifreddo al cioccolato bianco con nido d’ape e gelato ai frutti di bosco.
Il servizio è stato eccellente, indugiando più volte al nostro tavolo per accertarsi che tutto andasse bene, professionale e cordiale.
Davvero un locale unico nel panorama della ristorazione di Pienza.

I love this place! Despite being turned away at another restaurant for not having a reservation, I secured a table here without any issues. Every dish I ordered, from start to finish, was exceptional. The presentation was outstanding, the portions were perfect, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; you won't be disappointed. Get the Tiramisu!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at La Bandita! It is located in the perfect quaint town of La Pienza, and the service was outstanding. Virginia was especially kind and helpful throughout our stay. The atmosphere and aesthetic were very charming, even including an "honesty bar" that was so nice. Our only disappointment was the room itself as it was quite an odd layout (for the 3 person two story room) that could use some small improvements.

piatti unici nel loro genere e molto particolari , ma molto buoni , curato nel dettaglio e nell impiattimento ..unico neo :un po più caro della media .
Da provare comunque una volta!

I only came here for a meal as a friend recommended it as her favorite restaurant in Italy, and I can see why! The small touches and quality that goes into each dish makes any meal here one to remember.

I did not stay at the hotel, but I made a reservation at the Ristorante during my trip to Pienza (totally worth visiting). I was expecting the typical good food, good wine combo that you find in most of Tuscany, but the Ristorante was at a different level. Everything me and my wife had was perfect. The octopus with stracciatela (!) appetizer was tasty and well balanced. The raviolo with ossobuco and foie-gras was something I will not forget (just have it!) and even my wife (who is gluten intolerant) had a wonderful penne with pesto and parmigiano (yes, I had to try it). Then I had the tiramissu and I have to say it is, hands down, one of the best I ever had. On top of this fantastic meal in a wonderful medieval town, the Ristorante offers excellent wine by the glass (which is our default choice for lunch). I strongly recommend the Townhouse Ristorante!

We absolutely loved La Bandita!
They have created a truly special place. So many little details have been thought out.
The room was spacious, with all of the amenities you would expect from a top-notch hotel.
The library bar is a great place for a pre-dinner cocktail. Free glass of prosecco, and then an honesty bar - just write down what you drank. And snacks!
The entire staff is amazing, from the front desk to the restaurant. Everyone was super friendly. And Mikey seems to float about the restaurant, taking care of everyone, always with a friendly chat that leaves you smiling, and never misses a beat.
The restaurant provides a great breakfast, including eggs cooked to order. But don't miss dinner as well - we had one of the best meals of our trip at the hotel restaurant.
And the staff REALLY knows their wine. They recommended some great wines, both as a whole bottle and by the glass. And had great suggestions about surrounding towns and wineries to visit.
And the location is right within the heart of Pienza. We absolutely fell in love with this little town.
Highly recommended. We will return!

My wife and I stopped in for lunch with our 8 month old baby. The burger was top notch… perfectly cooked, thick, medium rare patty with a delicious house sauce and melted pecorino.
The staff were so friendly and engaging with our baby. Getting him pasta to try and even taking him off our hands for a few minutes so we could enjoy our meal in peace. Excellent service. Thanks so much , we will return !!!

I am pretty hard to please as a travel agent but this gem of an hotel is faultless, perfect location in the most charming little medieval town, stylish rooms and common areas, maybe the best food I had in Italy ( do try the Osso Bucco raviolo ). Loved the inclusions, delicious breakfast, the garden, the ... well everything. Service is friendly, personal and really caring from everyone. Must stay design hotel . Grazie for an amazing stay. We were only at the restaurant and it was marvelous. Nobody made a problem with reservation for 14 people including toddlers. Delicious food and friendly people. Thank You so much!
