HERMITAGE HÔTEL & SPA&#160 ;

Myself and my partner went to the Hermitage restaurant for a special dinner while staying in Cervinia.
We went for 3 courses for the A la Carte menu.
On welcome to the restaurant we were shown the selection of meats that were available for mains by the grill and also the dessert and cheese trolleys. The food was amazing, the quality was really good and the service was very professional. The tables felt well spaced apart & a nice atmosphere.
It is definitely an expense but we felt it was worth it for the special occasion.

Hotel a cinque stelle direi riduttivo. Penso che le stelle sarebbero dovute essere una per ogni persona che ci lavora. Ottima la location, pulizia eccellente. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante, tomahawk è la carne di ottima qualità, la torta alla crema di pistacchio è l esaltazione dell alta pasticceria.
Un hôtel cinq étoiles, je dirais, est un euphémisme. Je pense qu'il aurait dû y avoir une étoile pour chaque personne qui y travaillait. Excellent emplacement, excellente propreté. Côté restaurant, le tomahawk c'est une viande d'excellente qualité, le gâteau à la crème de pistache est l'exaltation de la haute pâtisserie.

We booked the restaurant for diner on our last day of the holiday and it was very disappointing, the starters were ok but the duck was over cooked so tough and the fish totally bland, after we spoke to the waiter the only thing he said it was sorry and he was talk to the chef we felt that we were treated differently because we didn’t stay in the hotel, so the last day of our trip what was supposed to be a treat was a mood killed, everyone left a bit sad. We had better meals at the village for a quarter of the price. Don’t recommend.

The hotel is really exceptional. It has an old fashion charm, which is very positive. And giant elegance. Staff is extremely helpful, kind, professional and try to fulfil all your needs. In the lobby you feel like at home. Fireplace with nearby bar are beautiful, very elegant and just invite you to have a rest after skiing. We had a classic room with the view of the Matterhorn. I know that there are rooms that are already refurbished, unlike ours, but still the room (although not too big) is very cosy, nice, clean.
Food is fabulous. Sumptuos breakfasts and fantastic dinners. Every day there are new chef suggestions based on local cuisine. Additionally there is a grill with variety of meats and fish. If it is not enough, there is an additional list of many delicious dishes to choose. Fantastic desserts and wines and cheese. We travel a lot but first time we had such a great cuisine. Really 5 star! If you want something for breakfast, they will do their utmost and never tell that something is missing.
Spa is not very spacious – but there is a large and clean swimming pool with Turkish bath and sauna. It is enough.
A driver is at your disposal in order to drop you off or pick up from the ski lift. It takes one minute to get to the slopes.
There is something magic in this hotel. You started to admire the place from the entrance. Really worth!!!
