ZASS RESTAURANT

The ambiance at Zass is a blend of sophistication and comfort. The terrace is adorned with elegant, well-spaced tables that allow for an intimate dining experience. Soft, live music provides the perfect soundtrack to your evening, enhancing the romantic atmosphere.
The staff definitely are of Michelin quality. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel like a valued guest. Attentive without being intrusive, the service is impeccable, with knowledgeable servers who can guide you through the menu offerings.
The food is delicious and I particularly enjoyed the fillet. Perfectly cooked the meat is tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The accompaniments to the fillet are equally impressive. The truffle mashed potatoes being my favourite.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply savoring a memorable evening, Zass Restaurant will leave you with cherished memories and a longing to return to its magical views.
That being said, the food is just ok. We are closing in on our last few days of a 2 week trip throughout Italy and I wouldn’t even put this dinner in the top 5 restaurants (food quality & taste & flavors) that we have experienced throughout Rome, Florence, Sorrento and Positano.
The prices are extremely high for what you get and they require you to spend $90 euros per person which cannot include wine or drinks. When I say they are extremely high for what you get, I mean the level of what you get. The spaghetti was ok. The sauce was just ok. Not amazing. The fish dish was ok. The beef dish lacked flavor and was missing any real substance.
If you are traveling to Positano and and want to experience a beautiful dining experience, you should try out Zass and have drinks on the patio beforehand. It’s gorgeous. It’s a very Instagram worthy location.
There’s a lot of hype around this restaurant, but it really didn’t deliver that much vs the expectations that I had.
