Siamo al TOP. Stupenda l'atmosfera e panoramica di Positano.La gentilezza di Sig. Carlos, che ci fai sentire a casa. Spero di ritornarci.

Positano is expensive! If you are aware of that and don’t have price expectations from other areas of Italy then this place is really good in any aspects. The sunrises are unbeatable. The nights on the terrace are worth the price. The owners are really sweet and supportive.

Hotel molto carino, ma 200euro a notte a ottobre senza neanche la colazione, nè il parcheggio (che è escluso e si paga ulteriori 40 euro). Bagno senza bidet e doccino rotto (zero sconto ovviamente). Anzi, la mattina volevano farci anche pagare l'ulteriore prezzo della tassa di soggiorno che al momento della riserva non avevano specificato fosse esclusa. Non abbiamo apprezzato che la signorina della reception, è venuta a bussare alla camera poco dopo che ci eravamo istallati nella stanza per chiederci i documenti nonostante al momento dell'ingresso aveva detto di consegnarglieli in un secondo momento.
APPARTE L'HOTEL che comunque ha una bella terrazza, POSITANO è UNA CITTà DA EVITARE: 25EURO PER UN GELATO e la continua sensazione (classica della zona napoletana) che come muovi ti stanno fregando. una fatica stare lì.

Der Gastgeber war sehr sympathisch und das er noch Deutsch kann, macht das alles zu einem perfekten Hotel.

Personnel très sympa et disponible. Les chambres sans balcon peuvent profiter d’une terrasse commune avec l’une des plus belle vue de Positano !
5 minutes à pied d’une plage calme à l’écart du centre.

Our room and bathroom had ants and the balcony leaked water when we took a shower.
They charge 15 Euro if you return to the hotel after 0130
After using the shared balcony one night, the next night there was a sign that the shared balcony could not be used after midnight.
Basically more rules than at your parents place while you’re on vacation trying to enjoy yourself.

Making this very clear as we had no idea about the prison rules prior to booking the place.

The view of the city is beautiful and the staff is helpful if you have any questions but that’s really all.

My friends and I are all studying abroad, and we spent part of our spring break staying here. This was the best place I’ve stayed at all semester, and it was extremely luxurious and beautiful. The views are incredible from the main dining area and the rooms. Carlo was so kind to us. The rooms had many necessary amenities, which is sometimes hard to find. I 100% recommend this place.

Sympathisches Personal

Absolutely the best view in Positano. We had our own private terrace.

We were sadly disappointed in our stay here and from the beginning felt a little mislead. We booked directly through the property website which says they offer breakfast as an option and had photos of the breakfast room and our Lonely Planet guide book also suggested the property offered breakfast. When we arrived at the property however, the person checking us in said they didn’t have breakfast there and didn’t give any further explanation as to why it was still listed on their website.

The website also says they have a laundry service, but we were told at check in that we would have to take it ourselves and he gave no further information other than the location. Luckily we asked a different person working the next morning about the laundry and they were very helpful in arranging for the laundry to be picked up from the property and dropped back off.

Aside from the confusion of the hotel services the room was also a bit lacking for comfort. The pillows were very flat, towels were starchy and stiff and had ants crawling up the bathroom wall. There was a ton of rain the second and third day of our stay and we had no hot water because they were having electricity problems.

On a positive note the owner of the property was very nice and tried to be as accommodating as possible to alleviate our concerns (offering insecticide spray for the ants and to take a shower in a different room). Overall we simply felt the accommodations were not a good value and that we overpaid for what we got in return. The balcony with the view was the best part, but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it much because of all the rain, and would have sacrificed the balcony if it meant we could have had more comforts in the room amenities.

It was the second time I stay at Pensione Maria Luisa. This time in the Panoramic Double Room!
We appreciated the nice staff and the cleanliness of the room… and of course our terrace with a stunning view.

I feel lucky to have found this place for my trip to Positano. Room was big and cleaned every day, staff was nice and kind, and it’s so close to the main road, while being tucked away from the center and the crowds. An amazing value. I’ll be back next time I’m in the AC!

Had an amazing stay at Pensione Maria Luisa in Positano this July 2022! The property is a 2 minute walk from the bus stop so it's easy to get around the small town of Positano. The hosts Andrea, Carlo, and Miguel were also extremely helpful and hospitable. The view from the balcony is breathtaking!

Staying in Positano is expensive and I doubt you can find a property that offers more value for money than this one. Hopefully, the hosts can offer breakfast soon!

Fantastic location, close to everything, but away from the noisy part of town. The host was so nice and welcomming. Verry charming.
