Absolutely fantastic experience. Our 2 and 6 year olds LOVED it, Lukka was wonderful with them, and then took my husband and I on a beautiful adventure afterward.

Incredible Winter Wonderland Riding experience! Magnificently handsome horses whose forelocks make you think of Tina Turner. The horses "tolting" gate is steady and calm. Then scenery on the ride was astoundingly beautiful. Best trail riding experience of our lifetime.

Our family did the private tour and had the best time.. Lukka our guide is good with children and an amazing guide explaining to us about the stable, area and Iceland.. would definitely recommend booking a horse riding tour with Langhus Horse Farm~

The best riding experience in Iceland!
I did the "a little bit of everything tour" and it was simply amazing!
Thanks to Evelyn (the dutch girl), who was my guide. She was full of knowledge and shared everything she knew about the area and Iceland in general! You made my day...thanks again!
"Classic" was an amazing horse and I enjoyed riding her very much!

We did the Viking tour in the middle of September and it was great! It was my first time ever on an Icelandic horse and I loved it. Our guides were super friendly and taught us so much about Iceland. The horses were also great and behaved so well. We added on the all you can eat waffle lunch and that was also great. The jams were amazing!

They treat the horses with the absolute most care so it was nice knowing you were supporting a place where they genuinely care about their animals.

We did not do a horse tour, as we were with a baby and our grandparents, but the owner was very accommodating and allowed us to come visit the farm! Our baby was able to play with and pet the beautiful horses - it was very special and we were very grateful!

Our family had a great time! Luca was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The horses were so beautiful and well-behaved. They were great around the baby too. We would definitely come back if we're ever in the area again!

Thank you Lukka and team for a fabulous horse adventure on the Beach Tour.

All 6 members of the group -from anxious beginner, more experienced, and even a birthday girl- were matched with a perfect ride.

Their care for the horses is obvious from speaking to the team and it was such a pleasure to learn about the local area.

The waffle lunch afterwards is an essential part of the trip!

The Icelandic Horses are so beautiful! What better than riding them in gorgeous scenery. Our guides took great care of us, helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend reserving with Langhus Horse Farm. Thank you ladies for a great time and waffle lunch.

The people here are the sweetest ever! We were interested to see horses up close and to pet them and the owners had no issues with this. Just make sure you ask them first. Apparently lots of people just randomly show up and walk around their property. Do it the correct way and ask if it is fine! Beautiful location!

Lovely people. Well cared for horses. Great riding. Nice tack. Learned a lot about local history and natural history. Will come back!! We were so lucky to ride out with Loki and Alice. Loki had so much to share with us about the area and we loved his stories.

Our party of 4 plus 2 guides had a wonderful 2 hour ride, this region is stunning and the views were fantastic. We had a tutorial at the beginning to get to know and learn how to ride our horses, very useful as 2 of us were novices. Although the weather wasn’t great, our guides, Hannah and Naima were so cheerful, encouraging and chatted with us all the way. Their love for the horses was clear to see and the horses themselves are amazing, solid and sure footed and we felt very safe on them. I was a little nervous at the river crossing but they just crossed with ease. The hot chocolate at the end of the ride was very welcome too!

Fantastic place for horse riding in Iceland. My husband (no riding experience) and I (experienced rider & horse owner) had booked the Viking ride as a private tour. We both enjoyed the ride very much. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and were always making sure that everybody is fine and feeling safe. Groups are accompanied by 2 guides and safety is taken very seriously here. Even as a beginner you can feel very safe here! The horses are great, reliable and know their job. I was also very happy to see that the horse's welfare is a top priority here. They all looked healthy & were motivated. They are only used for 1 tour per day and get time off. I also very much recommend the waffle lunch and hot mineral bath after the ride. We enjoyed our time with the horses and at the farm very much. And if you are thinking about buying an Icelandic sheep skin rug as a souvenir: They have beautiful local sheep skin rugs in amazing colors for sale :-)

La famille est très chaleureuse et accueillante. Les chevaux sont bien traités (ils ont tous du repos entre deux tours, et ils ont droit à 3 mois de repos total par année, sans compter l'espace qu'ils ont à disposition). Nous avons pris le tour "A little bit of everything" et avons beaucoup apprécié les paysages ainsi que les explications sur l'histoire islandaise au sens large (sur les chevaux, les légendes des lieux, la découvert de l'Islande par les vikings,...) données par les deux accompagnatrices. Nous avions choisi un tour privé et n'avons pas regretté ! En tant que cavaliers expérimentés, nous avons pu aller à un rythme un peu plus sportif et ça en valait la peine (en + d'essayer le tölt, allure spéciale des chevaux islandais). Le pic-nique donné était bon également, avec des pâtisseries et des mets locaux.

Petit bonus en prime, le bain naturellement chaud à la fin, qui fait beaucoup de bien aux muscles après un tour.

Nous remercions vivement la famille et nos deux accompagnatrices pour ce tour formidable, et recommandons cette ferme à quiconque souhaite passer un bon moment en compagnie de chevaux bien traités et de personnes sympathiques !

On a bright and glorious morning I had my first experience with the Icelandic breed of horse, and everything about it was lovely. Everyone was really friendly and helpful - from the owners to the staff to the horses themselves. I enjoyed meeting the horses in the barn, and getting to know my mount in the indoor arena before we ventured outside. The tölt was so much smoother and slower than I expected since I was comparing it to a regular trot. It was very comfortable to ride! Since it was March and all of northern Iceland was still coated in snow, I appreciated the soak in the hot tub afterward to warm up my toes. Thank you for an all-around wonderful time!

Would 100% recommend, they are clearly passionate about what they do. The horses were really sweet and well matched to rider ability, staff all so friendly and helpful. We did the beach ride and loved it, the scenery is amazing! We also had the waffles with homemade jam and cream which was definitely worth it after the ride

An immediate recommendation if you want to go horse riding in Iceland. It doesn't matter if you are a professional or a complete beginner, the horses there can handle everything. We came back to ride for three days in a row and it never got boring. We went up a little hill through a river and even cross country riding. You will also get to experience the special pace that only Icelandic horses are capable of doing. And if you are tired after a long ride there ist the possibility to use a small hot tub. Although there is a fee the relaxation is worth it. The family that runs the farm is extremely friendly and approachable. I can really recommend this farm and would encourage you to check it out.

We went as family of 4 with a 7 and 9 year old. They were great with the children and provided them with a nice overall experience. Very tranquil location and a pleasant ride in good company.
