Bon hôtel avec des chambres pas trop luxueuses mais confortables. Le service attentionné est particulièrement serviable et vous pouvez compter sur leurs conseils. Une très bonne base pour de belles vacances « non-club » à Sal.

Best location and best beach club in Santa Maria. This family-run hotel nails the chilled-out vibe you want from a beach holiday.

Not quite all mod-cons (our room was comfortable but dated), but there are several benefits versus other hotels in the area: the location is close to town but still peaceful versus a long walk down the promenade from the bigger, busier resort hotels; the lovely original builidng, grounds and trees (bringing the birds that come to join you for breakfast, so guard your plate!); the fantastic food at the beach club and pool restaurant, with a choice of grilled fish each mealtime (breakfast buffet good too); and the perfect place for pre-dinner or late drinks at La Tortue bar.

We came for a week of unwinding on the beach and Hotel Morabeza helped us relax to the max.

PS: I've seen some comments on service and I guess it's about what you're expecting - this is friendly and relaxed rather than the polished hospitality you'll no doubt find at the Hilton. But the staff that served us were all happy and helpful.

Tip: When the sun starts to cool, head to Ola Brazil fifty metres down the beach towards the pier. It's everything a chilled-out beach bar should be.

This has to be the worst hotel experience I have had. Starting from a duplicate booking which they did not correct, and I have since been charged twice. I picked this hotel as it was close to the Hilton, where i was previously staying, but they were fully booked for my last night. I booked two nights, even though my flight was in the evening, just so I could work from my room. No internet whatsoever since arriving at 4pm right through to the next day, and they kept feeding excuses. From 9am the next morning, I had to work from a corridor with no toilet in sight!. The breakfast was horrible, I left my plate for 2 seconds and it was taken by birds, this doesnt happen at the Hilton 5 mins up the road when you eat outside, very curious here?

I finally changed rooms at 1pm (so half the morning wasted) only after I came to chase, they didnt even alert me from my corridor spot where i was working.

When i finally got to check out and saw my bill, I said your missing my laundry bill (silly me for being honest!), I flagged it, they couldnt find it. They finally located it, i paid (oh so I thought). It is 10pm now, and on the way to the airport, 20 minutes into the journey, in the dark, a solo female traveller in the desert. The driver stops and is talking on the phone, I'm obviously nervous and now he says he has to turn back?! they take me back, the hotel reception says he made a mistake with my bill and i need to settle 14euro. You bring me back from my journey for 14euro, for laundry that you didnt even realise I owed in the first place, surely this could have been an email, a goodwill gesture for no internet for 12+hours ( I had already paid 55 euro mind you for the one small bag of laundry!).

This hotel is a mess. I'm so sad I couldn't stay at the Hilton, and this ruined my last night in Cape Verde.

Quarto e casa de banho bons, ambos com boa dimensão, televisão muito pequena para o rating do hotel. Almofadas desconfortáveis.
Pessoal impecável, educado, solícito e prestável. Limpeza impecável.
Pequeno almoço de boa qualidade e com variedade. Almoço somente no restaurante da praia.
Localização muito boa frente à praia e perto da vila de Santa Maria.
Para mim uma das melhores opções para visitar o Sal.

O ambiente é excelente, os funcionários extremamente prestáveis e simpáticos. Refeições muito saborosas e pequeno almoço muito variado.

Perfect location just at the beach with its own beach-club and also close to the village with restaurants etc. Friendly staff, great food (different restaurants) and clean rooms with a very good standard. Definitively would come again!

tolle Lage, große Zimmer und feines Restaurant. Die Bar spielt alle Stücke und das Team ist sehr sehr freundlich. Das 1. Haus in Santa Maria!

Ein Hotel für all jene die dem All inclusive Urlaub entfliehen wollen. Zwar schon etwas älter aber sehr gepflegt mit hervorragender Küche, freundlich umsichtigen Service das alle Wünsche erfüllt. Perfekte Stadt-Strandlage.

We stayed for a wonderful week at the Morabeza Hotel. It's a good size with a few free activities available including yoga and archery. Three swimming pools to choose from and access to the beach. It's a 5 minute walk to Santa Maria town centre where there are a large number of restaurants, bars and cafes.

The nicest place on Cape Verde.
The hotel is located on a lovely setting ,a stones throw from the clear turquoise blue sea.
Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating.
The hotel food is very good and quite varied as it has smaller restaurants attached to it one of which is on the beach itself.
It feels restful and uninhibited without bustling crowds. The town provides shops to provide essential provisions but isn't the most charming.
We have enjoyed our stay .
Beware when swimming strong under çurrent.

Rent, fräscht rum. Välstädat och rymligt. Mycket bra frukost. Vänlig och serviceminded personal, alltid med ett leende och en hälsning. Bra omgivning och perfekt läge. Nära till alla restauranger i Santa Maria. Tyst läge, bra utrymmen och hemtrevlig atmosfär.

Fantastisk frukostbuffe med mycket att välja på. Något för alla smaker.

Blick über den Garten auf das Meer, wunderbar. in drei Minuten im Ort,in dem viel los war. Die Hotelanlage sehr ruhig und gepflegt.alles in allem nichts auszusetzen! Außer: die Tür zum Bad war nur eine Lamellentür...

Excellent! Very fine, high quality establishment. We only ate dinner here, we did not sleep here but could tell that this is among the best places on the island. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I love that they have Catchupa, the Cape Verdean national dish, on the menu. I also appreciated various popular dishes from around the world. The menu was quite varied without being too large.

Gute Lage aber alles im allem einfach zu teuer . Preis pro Nacht ist nicht gerechtfertigt.

Etwas heruntergekommene Zimmer mit sehr wenig Licht. Wir hatten eine Junior-Suite mit Sea-View gebucht, jedoch war vom Meer nichts zu sehen. Das Personal war mal freundlich mal nicht. Der Standort war perfekt, da alles in Laufdistanz lag.

Best on Sal

A really relaxed and pleasant hotel in probably to best spot in Santa Maria. The food was excellent and great value. However none of the food with the exception of the fish is local, so if you don’t like fish, don’t go to Sal.

Ist einfach alles super hier! Angefangen bei der Lage... direkt an der schönsten Bucht von Sal und mitten in Santa Maria! Die Leute sind ALLE super nett. Das Zimmer angenehm, vorallem hat es genügend Kleiderbügel! Auch die Matratze war sehr bequem.

j'y suis allée en couple pour réveillon de nouvel an et 10 jours ensuite : l'hôtel est magnifique surtout si vous choisissez une chambre vue mer. Celle-ci a une bonne literie, de grands placards, un coffre et un grand bureau. La salle de bains est vaste avec 2 éviers, bidet, WC et grande douche. Le personnel de l'hôtel est aux petits soins, la plage est géniale, il y a 3 piscines et des pare-vent en verre. La nourriture est excellente et la direction veille à tout. à recommander chaudement

Hôtel de charme réputé depuis quelques dizaines d'années.
Il s'agit d'une structure de bonne qualité. L'idéal pour les amoureux du surf car proche de la mer tout en étant proche du centre artisanal. Idéal aussi pour le bronzage pieds nus en éventail le long de la superbe piscine. A recommander

Magnifique piscine , idéal pour bronzer. Superbe ambiance musicale et la plage à couper le souffle . Nous y sommes restés 3 jours de pure plaisir.
