Il s’agit d’une bulle de paradis, un endroit parfait pour vous relaxer et vous détendre. L’hôtel est excentrée du centre - toujours mieux d’avoir un scooter pour se sentir indépendant. Le service est merveilleux et le petit déjeuner à tomber ????

The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The tent are very comfortable and very natural surroundings. The sound of the river is so relaxing. Really a nice and relaxing resort, must try when in Laung Prabang, Laos. Highly recommended

If you want a complete seclusion and quiet, this is the place. We only met 2 other fellow guests in our 3 day stay. Staff is wonderful, bungalows are very nice and grounds are big. The other destinations are not so convenient. Luang Prabang is half an hour away with a big part of the trip on the very bumpy and very dusty dirt road. The Namkhan resort provides a benched tuk tuk commute for free to the town.

We stayed at one of the river front villas. Gorgeous two bedrooms, lounge decks, and dining area. Hot showers, comfy bed. The pool is just a step away and the restaurant is a short walk away as well.

Location is about 15min away from town. There is a free shuttle with limited times - so you might end up having to pay for a tuk tuk if the timing doesn’t work for you.

Food was excellent at reasonable prices (same as in town). Food service was sometimes slow if they happened to be short staffed with cooking classes. Breakfast offered a good selection.

Property offered good cover of amenities - outdoor gym, yoga pavilion, river front lounge areas, games, playground, swing, etc.

Spa treatments were NOT great. Stuffy room, very rustic (small tabletop fans, no AC, poor airflow), none of us could breathe through the massage beds. Masseuses do not seem to be very experienced - we had to give feedback on basic things like adjusting the headrest, lining the face hole with towels, raising the ankles when face down, changing the massage towel after a body scrub before moving into the massage part, using appropriate pressure, etc. My girlfriend had to use the bidet to rinse off the salt. Management said this was because the outdoor showers were under repair. Would have been good to know before hand? Definitely better spa treatments in town for a better price.

App for booking transport and activities were great. Very convenient, although you often get kicked out of the app and need to rescan the QR code. Staff were very helpful and service was excellent - especially with arranging transport and activities.

Vehicles were old though, and we expected something better for the resort. The van we had for one of our waterfall day trips was a bit of a dinosaur. AC was weak and both side doors could only be opened from the outside with some adjustment ‘tricks’.

Overall, great place to stay if you want something quieter away from town, with a range of onsite activities. The sound of wildlife against the backdrop of the running river is simply beautiful.

We had a wonderful time and next time, we'll definitely stay for longer! This was the highlight of our trip - the tents are sublime!

I stayed at Namkhan Resort recently and let me just say, it was incredible! The villas are stylish yet cozy, with killer views. The pool area is pure relaxation heaven, and their massages? Top-notch. Plus, there's so much to do – from guided kayaking, bamboo teaching class, bbq experience is my favorite. Seriously, it was like living in a dream. Can't wait to go back!

Couldn’t speak highly enough of the resort itself - everywhere on the large site was beautiful, stunning views, prime location on the beautiful river, room (the deluxe suite) was ideal and the pool and gym were both excellent.

However, there were two things that lead to me dropping stars.

Firstly, there are dogs on the lodge which in itself should be a positive. But one dog who hangs around the restaurant area seemed incredibly uncomfortable and even bit my friend at one point. And there was another dog who violently growled at me when I was checking out. I own a customer-facing business and have taken great effort to train my dogs so that they are approachable and friendly, and it seems unprofessional that such a place would not do the same.

Secondly, there were many hidden fees included in small things. Water which was not labeled with a price was revealed to be $1.50 per small bottle with an included “service charge” to bring it to our room which we were explicitly told is free. Whilst this price may not be a big deal to some but for those on Thai salary these hidden fees come to a considerable price to us. Whilst all the staff on site were lovely and very caring, hidden fees like this aren’t appreciated.

I would still recommend anyone to stay here but am left a sour taste by the two negatives I have stated.

Eine tolles Resort. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service. Unser privates Tuk Tuk hatte auf der Anreise ein Refenschaden. Das Namkhan hat sofort einen Wagen geschickt um uns abzuholen. Es gibt mehrmals täglich einen kostenlosen Shuttle in die City. Unser Bungalow war sehr sauber und würde täglich gereinigt. Das Restaurant ist ganztägig geöffnet und bietet leckeres Essen und ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Bellissima esperienza in mezzo alla natura. Camille, il manager francese, ha un gran cuore. Lo staff laotiano è molto gentile e dolce. Il ristorante è ottimo - anche per noi che siamo vegan e quindi...un po' difficili da accontentare - e le verdure biologiche vengono direttamente dagli orti coltivati in loco. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in tenda ma anche le camere e le ville -nella parte nuova - sono bellissime sia come architettura che nel design. Raffinate opere d'arte sono ovunque. Grazie per tutto ciò che ci avete fatto conoscere e vivere.

Really enjoyed our short stay at the Namkam. Particularly the spa/sauna/cold pool and nice dip in the river.
The room was great, close to the restaurant.
We stayed a couple of nights in the old town, then here so was a prefect mix really. They offer a handy shuttle into town also which is great. Definitely stay here if you come to Luang Prabang, it's only 15 mins from the airport also so super handy.

An absolutely incredible experience. The location, resort and suite was all just so so beautiful. The service was also excellent they gave us everything we needed and even had amazing vegan food!
