Oasis after a long dusty drive - couple of beers hit the spot. Definitely worth a visit.

So we were passing through Helmeringhausen today and saw this lovely spot that said ‘best apple cake in Namibia’ so naturally, we stopped! When we first arrived we were met with amazing staff, that helped us to our table and we ordered some food… The staff was about the only amazing thing about this place, truly they were lovely! The owner on the other hand, absolutely awful, rude and completely uninviting. She shouted at my brother in the store (after we were about to buy something… Quickly changed our minds haha) then shouted at someone else in our group for some reason or another. Shes miserable honestly, which is surprising because in a town so remote, surely you would be keen for the support & the visitors supporting your business? Needless to say we will never be back and we will warn people to stay away, as the owner is so terrible. Which is sad because we loved the staff…
