super vue et bon plats

pas beaucoup de choix à walvis bay mais ce restaurant anchors est idéal et top vue sur les bateaux : sercive avec grand sourire et rapide :)

Buono il riso con i frutti di mare e la zuppa di cozze. Le ostriche grigliate non erano granché e in una c'erano pezzetti di guscio all'interno. Buoni anche i gamberi all'aglio ma con troppo condimento. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare più di mezz'ora per essere serviti.

Their fish is good but their fried calamaris were simply outstanding ???????????? A must to try if you are ever in this town .Lastly don’t forget to try their in house complimentary bread as it is very tasty .

The hake and salad was realy very good. Fish was soft and fluffy... Mmmmm.... Jummy. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Great place.

Zeker 7 x gegeten. Super goed eten . Persoonlijk vond ik de eerste keer de patat te slap dus volgende keren gevraagd om crispy. Dat was geen probleem.

I went to this restaurant during Good Friday holiday, the service was good and the food are tasty ????! Menu has a lot of variety of food selection and the seafood are fresh! I like the atmosphere there and the seaview was splendid! They also had bunch of wine ???? to drink and the bar is always welcoming. Recommend to come for a good view and good food.
Ps: But I don't recommend the steak, it was too hard to chew on...

Sit for more than 30 minutes and no service at all. Thank you but won't see us again. As dockside give us service everytime

Great Service!
Eventhough it was packed, the staff remained friendly, service was on point, we got our food fast and the over all experience was great with the live DJ creating music using various genres to play for all age groups.

Would Highly recommend ????!

It is a laid back establishment and great view over the lagoon area.
The meal was great.
When busy, the service staff might take long but overall experience was fantastic.

We decided to visit Anchors because of all the high praise.
It was an utter disappointment.

We waited more than an hour and a half for our meals (reservation for 2) just to get food which as disappointing.

I ordered a surf and turf (prawns). Firstly the prawns were cold and to told it off, two of my prawns were not properly deveined.

The steak was too salty.
The lettuce was not very crisp.

My husband ordered an Octupus ala Anchor and it was very bland with very little seasoning.

The service was not impressive. Waited very long intervals between being serviced. Also, we requested a take away of the Octupus dish as it was nearly eaten from. Paid, left the restaurant, got to the car, and realized they only gave us the cake take away and not they food. Went back for it and they said hey forgot.

Was not a very good experience.

Sehr schlechter Service, ich musste 2 mal rein gehen einmal um das Menü zu bekommen das 2 mal um zu bestellen, die Restaurantleitung war sehr unfreundlich, das Essen kam bevor die Getränke überhaupt da waren, 2 andere Tische hatten ihre Getränke schon, obwohl sie später ankamen. Kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen dieses Restaurant.

Anchors is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Walfisbay. They have a huge variety of food and everything is delicios. Weather you like seafood or not you are going to find just the right meal for yourself.
And don't let me start about the view. Sometimes one can see the flamingos which is very entertraining if you visit with little children.
I would highly recommend this place, not only for the food but for the experience.
(And if anyone would wonder, the restrooms are clean and easy to find :) )

Moins usine à touristes que The Raft, avec un personnel extrèmement accueillant, souriant et faisant de son mieux pour vous satisfaire.
Les plats sont très bons , environ de 7 à 15 €
Ayant testé The Raft et Anchors, je dirais que The Raft est plus cher mais plus copieux , et Anchors un meilleur rapport qualité prix et plus intime.
