I had a great stay here. The hosts are very accommodating and make delicious homegrown food. Always there to contact. Free bikes to cycle and comfortable rooms.

Florian m'a demandé de lui ramener du vin de France, en me proposant d'échanger avec son vin qu'il vend 10 euros la bouteille. Je lui ai donc ramené 4 bouteilles de 75cl à 10 euros. Au moment de repartir en France je passe chercher son vin. Il me tend une bouteille en plastique d'1.5L. Je ris et lui dis que je lui en ai donné 4. Alors il m'en donne une 2ème en me disant que ça fait la même quantité de liquide. Mais ça ne fait pas du tout la même valeur !!! Et en rentrant, je goûte son vin et c'est du vinaigre ! Il serait vendu 2euros la bouteille ici... Bref, Florian est désagréable, malhonnête, et je vous déconseille fortement les échanges de vin ! Epargnez-vous cela.

We had a fantastic experience at Florian Guesthouse in Shkoder, Albania! The warm family atmosphere created a welcoming vibe, and Florian helped us organizing our unforgettable hiking expedition to Valbone and Theth. The convenience of a shuttle bus picking us up at Florian's doorstep and taking us directly to the Koman ferry marked the perfect start to our hiking adventure.

A must-try is the homemade vegetarian dinner at Florian's—it's incredibly delicious and offers a true taste of classic Albanian cuisine. The added perk of borrowing bicycles to explore downtown enhanced our overall experience. Without a doubt, we wholeheartedly recommend Florian Guesthouse for an exceptionally memorable stay!

Florian's Guesthouse is a true, authentic Albanian experience! I absolutely loved staying in this hostel and felt very welcome by Florian and his family. Dinner each night was delicious, home-cooked, traditional Albanian food at an affordable price and the homemade wine was the best wine I've had. Florian is a very proud host and has a wealth of knowledge on Albanian culture, farming, food and the best local experiences. Highly recommend!

A la vue des notes, nous y sommes allés les yeux fermés!
Cependant, plusieurs points à relever.
Chambre très basique mais propre.
PDJ léger.
Repas du soir (8€, végétarien) un peu cher et léger, mais qu'avec les produits du jardin. Petit +, il offre le vin de ses vignes qui est très bon!
Etablissement un peu trop 'commercial'..
Il propose une visite du village.
Peut-être un peu cher...

I stayed at Florian's place for one night and it was amazing. I booked last minute but Florian was great with the communications. It's a beautiful property and has a beautiful view of the mountains. Florian is a very warm and friendly person and very knowledgeable. He gave us a tour of their farm and it was a very nice experience. There were bicycles available at his place and he gave great suggestions for places to visit in and around. The dinner for a small additional price was made with mostly with the produce from their farm and it was a delicious traditional Albanian meal and there was homemade wine aswell. Highly recommended having the dinner from there. Florian also arranged for the bus to Theth. I would highly recommend Florian's place to anyone travelling to Shkodra. It's definitely worth it!

The best guesthouse I have ever stayed in Albania. Running by Mr Florian, a very nice local family, with traditional dishes, along with peaceful vibe and beautiful garden. Wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.

Best guesthouse in the Bulkans!! Florian and his family was so welcoming and hospitable, and gave me the best inside tips on what to do! Their farm is beautiful and I cannot recommend staying here more.

Florian was a nice host together with his lovely mom that cooked us a great vegetarian dinner.
We also got help from him to book transport tickets to Valbona and he kept our big luggage until we came back from our hike.

Great Place! Lovely Host. The evening meal is really good. You have the Chance to Drink different kinds of homemade wine aswell. See you next time.

Florian was a great host who opened his home to travelers. The food was fantastic and the home made wine was enjoyable to drink. The camaraderie with other travelers around the table was fun getting to meet other travelers from other parts of the world.

Amazing stay at Florian. The accommodation is amazing and peaceful, the dinner and wine delicious.

Florian can arrange all sorts of tours and is very flexible, commutation was great.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had the best time at Florian’s guesthouse! Such a welcoming and homely place. The food was SO delicious and made from all homegrown ingredients - even the wine is made from grapes on the property. Florian was really helpful and offered lots of suggestions for things to see and do in Shkoder. A really special experience I would recommend to anyone!

Florian really cares about to give you recomendations to spend your day as good as possible. The dinner is a must- have option because a lot of vegetables are selfmade or from one of the direct neighbours and extremly delicious. As a nice side-effect you will make knowledge of the other guests that will sit around the table. Florian offers even home-made wine and sometimes rakija. Both have a great taste.

Florian is legend is north Albania, he knows everything and he’s always ready to help. He helped us to arrange transportation to/from the iconic walk Theth-Valbona.

I hope to see you soon and tried again this delicious wine.

Florian is a really friendly and polite host. He helped us organizing our trip to theth. The food was amazing and the self made wine too! The place is really beautiful and a perfect place to stay before hiking in the mountains

We had a very pleasant stay at Florian’s place. Florian’s family gave us a very warm welcome, his dad also makes delicious wine! Before arriving at Florian’s guesthouse, we didn’t really have an idea of what our two week holiday in Albania would look like. Florian speaks English fluently and he also has his own travelling company. He helped us out with our trip to Teth, Valbona and Komani. Would surely recommend this place if you’re going for a real Albanian experience :)
