RELAIS LA SOMMITÀ ^{* * * * *}

Jem of Ostuni for sure. We spent a couple of nights. There is only one problem - i didn't want to go anywhere outside of the hotel! it's so beautiful and offers a variety of indoors and outdoors cozy places, and the views! Views are just unreal. Especially the sunset. The room was very clean with a comfy bed and offered a variety of pillow types: feathers, memory foam, etc. The AC wasn't loud but efficient in over +30° outside. Breakfast was delicious. Additional compliments to Daniela for extra help and to Valery. Tuk-tuk ride as compliments of the hotel is fun, as the hotel's secure garage is somewhat remote. But actually pretty walkable from, just 15 min uphill of a shortcut through the old citywall, as we discovered on day two.

Un lugar ideal para recorrer Ostuni. Deberían advertir que NO SE PUEDE ENTRAR CON EL VEHÍCULO PROPIO A LA ZONA DEL HOTEL: indicar dónde estacionar y dar un WhatsApp para pedir el transfer hasta el hotel.

Im Mai bei mittleren Wettertemperaturen sind die Zimmer eiskalt und leider kann die Klimaanlage die Zimmer nicht wärmen weil diese nicht funktionieren. Das Personal beim Frühstück ist nicht professionell. Wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt muss man selber rein gehen um den Kaffee zu bestellen. In der Hochsaison ist es bestimmt besser. Ein 5-Sterne Hotel sollte aber die ganze Zeit einen guten Service anbieten.

La struttura è assolutamente inadeguata agli standard R&C: è inaccettabile che un hotel di questo livello abbia stanze senza vere e proprie finestre (solo una sorta di oblò in alto). Purtroppo anche le stanze con finestre sono buie, senza impianto illuminazione adeguato. Le tende sono pesanti, brutte, non spostabili per fare luce (ci siamo dovuti arrangiare con un gancio fatto da noi per poter vedere qualcosa). Bagno piccolo, mal collocato rispetto alla zona notte, con ripiani minuscoli. Negli armadi non c'è il calza scarpe. Il mobilio è vecchio, anonimo, totalmente privo di aspetto decorativo. Complessivamente, le stanze sono piccole per il costo che hanno. Room service di poca scelta e ancor meno qualità, ma con prezzi elevatissimi. Frequentiamo molto spesso Ostuni, avendo una casa di villeggiatura a pochi passi da La Sommità, ma non avevamo ancora avuto modo di soggiornare: esperienza flop, non torneremo mai più, e sconsiglieremo fortemente l'hotel ad amici e ospiti: ci aspettavamo ben altro, la struttura non vale assolutamente il prezzo richiesto. Alcuni hotel 4 stelle di Ostuni hanno stanze più caratteristiche, più grandi e più luminose de La Sommità.

We can't say enough about how wonderful Hotel Relais La Sommita was. It was as beautiful as can be and the service was top notch in every possible way. We arrived on bicycle and I had a medical incident within minutes of arriving as I cut my head and needed the ER for a few stitches and the whole staff from the manager to the housekeepers to the drivers snapped into action and took such wonderful care of me. Thank you for making me feel so cared for and for your gorgeous hotel. We will be back for sure!
