Usually I don’t leave reviews but in this case I knew I had to.
We stayed here Aug 14-16th with our service dog. Upon check in I let the front desk know we had the paper work and the documents to support this. They reviews them and said ok no problem.
The stay was good, the people at the resort were friendly and kind.
Upon check out the lady was super short and angry seeming. I told her I was here to check out and she said to me ok you had a small dog. I said no I have a large dog but he’s a service animal and I provided the documentation for this. She proceeded to say I needed to pay €40.00 (€20.00 per night) which normally wouldn’t matter but it stated on their website and Expedia that a service animal is free which is normal and respectable. I explained to her he is a service animal and she argued with me I was incorrect and needed to pay regardless of me telling her he is of no charge as stated on the website (ignorance). I decided to pay and said I’d check the website after as the hotel didn’t have great service. As I left the hotel I checked and sent a picture to the hotel of the confirmation of the free service animal and my receipt of being charged. 3 emails later, 2 calls and no response from the hotel.
I am not writing a review for the €40.00 euro, I am writing this review in hopes this doesn’t happen to someone else. The hotel and management need to read their own website and be aware of the “rules” of the hotel.

Posto molto bello, rilassante e armonioso. Personale accogliente. La ragazza mora alla reception, che ci ha accolto e ci ha salutato alla partenza, e' stata veramente carina... un grazie a te cara e un abbraccio

Location favolosa, tutto il resto da migliorare, posto tranquillo ed esclusivo, baia privata molto bella, buffet minimalista, una settimana di filetti di pesce scongelati, cotolette dozzinali, primi appena decenti, ma ben lungi dai prodotti tipici Pugliesi, appena più decente il ristorante fronte mare, ma nulla di adeguato ad un resort 4 e 5 stelle.trattamento di serie B per i clienti Booking, e non solo, sconti proposti solo a chi prenota direttamente, spero che non sia la linea che seguirà la nuova gestione, hanno l'oro in mano, non lo trasformino in piombo.

Resort a 5 stelle, dotato di baia privata e suite a due passi dal mare ciascuna munita di vasca idromassaggio privata. Privacy assolutamente garantita nei comodissimi gazebo in riva al mare. Confortevole, anche se piccolina, la beauty farm interna. Gradevole anche se semplice, il ristorante Le Dune fronte mare. Purtroppo il cibo non è stato assolutamente all'altezza tanto che in proporzione era migliore il ristorante a buffet dell'hotel a 4 stelle facente sempre parte della struttura. Il Gusmay Resort, da poco restrutturato, ha conservato l'avvenieristica natura del suo costruttore l'architetto friulano Marcello d'Olivo. Da vedere! Il parco enorme, curatissimo. Manca solo una gestione capace di riportarlo al 5 stelle che dichiara di essere. A malincuore devo dire che di stellato al momento c'è solo il prezzo. Ultima nota: c'è poco campo e gli operatori migliori sono wind e telecom a tratti. Vodafone prende poco niente. Il wireless copre solo alcune aree. Per me è un plus, ma capisco gli internet dipendenti anche in vacanza
Appena arrivati ????problemi con il check in perché la prenotazione fatta attraverso Booking non coincideva affatto con quello che loro volevano farci credere. Quindi ci siamo trovati a pagare non le 216€ come da prenotazione per stanza 275€ ????
Pessimo servizio...stanza quasi improponibile per un 4 stelle.
Il ristorante sulla spiaggia da dimenticare i primi ordinati...orecchiette con zucchine e vongole ( da barattolo acquistate chissà dove)senza sapore e un antipasto a buffet dove le uniche cose erano le friselle condite alla meglio e salamino affettato
Il dolce forse l'unica cosa accettabile
Al momento di andare via per arrivare alla hall siamo andati a piedi perché nessuno è passato a prenderci ( ma due passi non hanno fatto mai male) al check out sembrava di parlare con chi era lì per caso
Siamo stati felici di andare via.
Chiunque si incontrava aveva da lamentarsi...se dovessi avere bisogno non mi recherò più presso questa struttura.
