CANDLELIGHT INN ^{* * * * *}

This was such a stellar find. The location is close enough to drive to so many wineries and bonus: near some outlets for shopping! The inn is cozy and comfortable with quaint rooms. The breakfast is DELICIOUS!! The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind- a special shout out to Areli and Dulcel for their amazing customer service!

The, room, the food, the service the staff (kitchen) our check-in and overall, they were all incredible. Daniel is only in his training phase and he seamed as if he been working here for years! We were lucky to have Rosa take care of our cottage and she had it impeccably done every night. Loved it, definitely a must!

My husband and I traveled to Napa for my birthday to ride the wine train. On their website and via several reviews, it was recommended to stay at the Candlelight Inn. Being unfamiliar with Napa I went with it and made the reservation. Let me say that the overall experience was good. This was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. We arrived on a Saturday around 3:30pm. Our room was ready and the young lady provided us with our room key. We stayed in room #10, on the first floor of the house, right off the dining and kitchen area. The room had an entry way, as if it had been a hallway originally with a large bathroom off the hallway and the bedroom at the end of the hallway with another door to the bedroom. The room was nice, large, clean, no issues. However, the room didn't have a fan nor did it appear to have any ventilation. It must have been covered by a piece of furniture or maybe it didn't have any, not sure. I would have enjoyed a fan or something at night, just to move some air. There was music. Music that is played in the dining/kitchen area. Due to the wood floors and music carried, right into our room, also conversations, people getting ice, and people checking in. The music played well past "quiet time" and it was turned off when I finally asked. The next night it played as well. We received breakfast both mornings. The breakfast was great. It was filling and had nice portions. I looked at maps before heading to Napa and it was very misleading. The B&B is at the end of a street in a residential area. If you are riding the wine train it is not walkable to the station. Not a huge deal, we had a rental car; however, downtown Napa is not nearby. If you want to go to dinner and experience the nightlife you will have to Uber or park and walk downtown. Overall, the staff was excellent, the B&B was clean, and comfortable.

Sehr gemütliche und liebevoll eingerichtete Location. Sensationelles individuelles Frühstück. Jeder einzelne Gang eine Überraschung und selbstgemacht. Vom morgens frisch gebackenen Blaubeerkuchen über das mit Basilikum und mehreren Käsesorten verfeinerte Omelett - alles ein purer Gaumengenuss!
