While our recent stay left something to be desired in terms of room cleanliness, we were incredibly grateful for the accommodating staff who allowed us to store our belongings until our check-in time at 4pm. Despite the room being a bit dirty, my wife was not a fan, but personally, I didn’t mind much, especially considering the good deal we got. The flexibility and kindness of the staff in accommodating our needs made a positive impact on our overall experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

Cons
Calling this place a shack is doing it a BIG favor:
- completely uninsulated
- rain puddles on the floor
- A/C and heat on a 30 minute timer
- makes a youth hostel look like a palace
- steep stairs everywhere
- most rooms are down the block
- room size about the same as a crew cabin on a cruise ship
- website room photos heavily Photoshopped to make the rooms look "quaint" rather than horrible

Furniture
- bed (old and squeaky)
- Night stand 9" x 12"
(no other furniture present; nothing else)

No place for clothes
- no closet
- no bureau
- no drawers

No flat surfaces
- no desk
- no table

Only one power socket next to the wall mounted TV. None elsewhere except the bathroom.

TV
channels don't work (subscription not paid)

Bathroom
- hot water isn't hot in the sink
- shower head falling off
- shower water temperature never got above warm
- soap the size of a postage stamp
- location of the bathroom light switch is still a mystery

All this for only $360 per night.

Amazing cottage with view. Ov3, ov4 a must rent!

Have called for 4 days and not once answer phone. Left voice-mail and haven't heard back from them.

Staff were very friendly. The room was nice but a little dingy. Our tv and heater didn’t work and the front desk didn’t respond to a voicemail we left for them to fix it. The shower is small and awkward to use. Great location in the center of town though. Overall, you don’t get much for what you are paying.

If you’re looking for a place to stay at during your trip to Catalina look no further. Alex is a superstar and created the best and most personable experience ever! There were a few things we forgot but he was quickly able to help us obtain them and even went above and beyond to help us while the manager was unable to be contacted (their phone was off when we were trying to contact them even though it was the only provided number for when the front desk is closed). He happened to come by and assisted us even when he was off of work. He definitely deserves a promotion!

Worst room, worst service. Access cards didn’t work from 8:30 pm and there is no one at the front desk, or after hours contacts to help us activating access cards. Waited for more than an front desk and called emergency numbers and manager number at the hotel display.

Paid double and stayed in a different hotel for the night.

The place was awesome! Super good location.
The general manager was super kind and accommodating!
Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable, nice place to stay!

This was the worst experience at this hotel I got a jack and Jill the door were my kids would not lock the shower was ice cold they moved my to another room and said I will be getting a one night refund within 7 business days it's been 15 no refund won't be staying again bad service trying to call them they won't answer

I paid almost 300$ a night the two night I spent there was not fun at all! The cottages are very tinny, taking a shower it's like you are standing in the a bottle! You can't turn around or stretch your arms, very dirty, very old, I requested for the room clean up, they didn't change the bedsheets, they cleaned and pushed the dirt under the bed! Very disappointed in you guys!

This hotel was ok. The room was big but in my opinion, not pretty for the price we paid. One time the toilet just stop working randomly. The bed was not very confortable. For the price we paid, I would search for something else. But the emplacement was perfect, and the staff was very nice!

I'm giving this star a five star review because although I was really excited to stay here and my trip was cancelled due to Hurricane Hillary, their customer service and understanding was top notch. I can't wait to rebook my trip at a later date.

They were flexible about reservations during the Hurricane which was great!

Close to Casino point for the diving and any of the restaurants, rooms are what I needed. Maeve, Deming, and David are hard workers who have given me solid recommendations about the island.
