We returned to Addison last night and a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were greeted and taken to a lovely table facing the dining room. The service was completely different this time, very attentive and much more personal. We had one main waiter that took us through the food experience and one main female sommelier that guided me through the wine pairing. My boyfriend enjoyed a mocktail pairing that was delicious (I sampled his drinks) and paired well with the food. The sommelier was amazing, probably the most interesting one I have ever met. She explained the history and story of the winery and the wine/champagne, she really made the drinks come to life.
The food menu had many similar dishes as last time, but with a spring twist and this time we both enjoyed the wagyu beef, which was probably one of the best steaks I have had.
The service felt welcoming and personal, we enjoyed the stories behind the dishes, produce, and meat! We ended with a tour of the kitchen and meeting the amazing chef team. Huge thank you to the Addison team for the wonderful hospitality, we felt welcomed and really taken care of.

We have been to Addison for multiple special occasions since 2012. The quality of food only go up every time we visited. The food, the service and their attentiveness is top notch. Overall the experience and the food is worth going for.
The only down side is that I haven’t been able to find any availability through their online reservation system since they got the Michelin stars.

Went here to celebrate my best friends 30th birthday and the experience exceeded expectations! We did not opt for the wine pairing (it was mostly whites and we very much lean towards reds) but got a bottle of wine and some cocktails and it was amazing. From when we sat down the level of service was unparalleled. The sommelier was very helpful in picking out a bottle that we would enjoy. After about 3.5 hours and 10 courses later we couldn’t eat more even if we wanted to. Each dish was very well thought out and fun to experience! My friend was gluten free (celiac) and the seamless transition between dishes and accommodations exceeded expectations! Overall a very fun and elegant experience!

We were very impressed and happy with our experience. It makes me sad to see some of the bad reviews as it seems this restaurant is undeserving of them.
The team here makes such a great effort to give an absolutely unforgettable night. The quality and taste of the food is so good!!
The service is choreographed perfectly, like a dance, they are so welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable, the light the music the comfort of the chairs, temperature of the room, the beauty of everything they put in front of you, is art. It all exceeded our expectations. Just amazing!!
Thank you to the staff and chef for making this happen.
With that being said, this is meant in my opinion to be a one time experience. Anything more will make the mirage break for you.
I get that most people that come here have an abundance of cash to burn and they wish they can come here every weekend and be served a different menu all together but is that even possible?
For reference our bill for 4 people was $8,500 after gratuity, and although we were absolutely blown away by the whole thing, no restaurant visit should cost that much.
But if you have the money to spare, come and experience this place, it's worth every penny. I know it's contradictory, but I think you understand what I mean.

Have been to Addison’s on 3 seperate occasions in the course of 2 years. Added the wine pairing on each occasion. I must say that the first time we were blown away! The food, the wine, the presentation, and the atmosphere were all amazing! We enjoyed it so much, that we decided to take our 17 yr old at the time with us. For a menu that allegedly changes every 6 months, we were surprised to see that each dish that came out was exactly the same as our first visit. Thinking that maybe we didn’t space the two visits far apart enough, we visited a third time. The same exact meal except for maybe a dish. Disappointing is an understatement. Addison is a lovely ONE TIME experience in my opinion. It would be nice to see the chef switch out the menu and give us something new. Will not be returning until I see new dishes being posted.

The service and presentation were impeccable. The atmosphere was elegant and classy. The music was more modern than the traditional setting. The food was inventive but not anywhere near a five star, five diamond and especially, a three Michelin star rating. My squab was fatty and had gristle in it. It was also rather tasteless. The wines were perfectly paired with the dishes. The prices were so much higher than the quality of the food. Our meal for two, with the wine pairing, came to just under $2000.00. In the end, we did make a comment about the taste and quality of the squab that was served. Our waiter said he’ll let the chef know. Based on what other people have said about the squab, I don’t believe that anything will be changing in the quality of that dish. We did have coffee in the library afterward. That was a pleasant experience, as they brewed it in front of us, and poured a fresh cup. All in all, good but not great food, which is why it earned the four stars in my opinion, instead of the five that it should have.

If I had to summarize Addison in a single word, it would be “disappointing.” If adding another, it would be “confusing.”
We have been to several Michelin restaurants (both 1 star and gourmand in the United States and France), but never a 3-star, so we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, Addison was a complete disappointment.
It started with the confusing parking, which was dark and unlit, without valet service of any kind. Upon walking in, there was a lady seated behind a counter, but the welcome wasn’t really that warm, and despite not seeming that busy, our table was delayed for around 25 minutes.
We shook it off in hopes that this would be an amazing experience once we got settled. True to Michelin fashion, the service was impeccable. The sommelier and staff were delightful and engaging. This is where the positive notes end unfortunately.
Similar to some of the other reviews that I have since read, we found the flavors didn’t blend well together. It seems the tartness in many of the dishes was overbearing, the temperatures between ingredients was not aligned, the meat textures were not as expected, and the dishes were not well balanced on the palate. As a positive, the presentation did at least look nice.
This was the first Michelin experience for our dinner companions, so I found myself continually reassuring them things would get better, but unfortunately they never did. I found 3 of the 10 courses to be pretty good, but found nothing excellent, and most dishes to be marginal.
In fairness, I understand each chef to have his or her own style and artistic flair, so it’s entirely possible that perhaps my palate just doesn’t agree with this particular culinary style. I would feel better, had the 3 others with me have seen things differently, but unfortunately all of us shared the same feeling and most of the dishes were returned without having been fully consumed.
We expected the price to be what it was, just shy of $3000 for 4, but found the menu disappointing if even it had been for a much lower price offering. We also felt the menu to be confusing in presentation. In my experience with Michelin restaurants, they all seem to lead you on a journey and tell a story, but in this instance the journey wasn’t linear and the story had no plot or route to follow.
Honestly, we all discussed on the ride home how disappointing the experience was and our friends commented that it would be unlikely they would return, even if the meal had been without cost. I think this speaks for itself.
Objectively, I am unsure how this one snuck in “under the Michelin radar” and would never expect a Michelin 3-star rating for Addison. There are many 1-star Michelin and gourmand restaurants, whom are far outperforming Addison, and for whom this rating would be more deserved. At best, maybe they just had a bad day in the kitchen. At worst, maybe Michelin needs to take another look at this one.
We found the experience worthwhile, only in the respect that we tried it. It certainly adds to our comparison of the others we have enjoyed, but we would not recommend Addison and would not return.
Again, we understand how hard the chef and staff work to attain such a rating, so the purpose of this review is more in hopes that it will be taken to heart, with some corrections made, in order to make it a worthwhile experience (as 1 of only 143 Michelin 3-star restaurants in the world) in the future.

The food was honestly pretty bad, been to many Michelin star restaurants this was by far the worst one, and the most expensive.

Food is 4.5. pretty good but a bit too standard for a three, it felt like deja vu almost every dish. It's like I've had a variation of this before, for example the oyster and pearls from French laundry kind of shows up a little in their caviar dish. What makes Addison stand on it's own other than being just another run of the mill three star ? Wine selection ? The 700 dollar pairing certainly didn't demonstrate that for me, so why would I gamble on the 1500 dollar pairing ? I get it, these places make their margins on wine. Then where is the Addison show case ? What makes Addison unique enough for someone to revisit ?

Was a bit disappointed with how some courses my dietary restrictions were ignored and for the price to pay for dishes I could not eat.
I felt confident walking in, having already confirmed my diet verbally and written prior to the reservation. I was informed that one dish could not be worked around and was prepared to let my partner eat that portion but was surprised that a few other courses included eggs and dairy while they seemed to correctly omit it for other courses. So it seemed odd that certain courses they prepared me something different for my diet while other courses they didn’t (and found through my partner asking afterwards what was in the dishes after feeling a little skeptical and stomach bloated).
Overall really wanted to enjoy the experience but felt kind of disappointed that we payed a $900 bill for a reservation and explaining dietary situation weeks prior. I have been to other Michelin stars that were easily able to accommodate my diet or promptly tell me they could not.

I enjoyed the experience here but the portions are very small. The food is mediocre, you’re just paying for the experience, service and the ambiance.

Shaun stands out as the most extraordinary restaurant manager I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. His service wasn't just outstanding—it was genuinely awe-inspiring. As a solo diner, Shaun made an extra effort to ensure I felt incredibly welcomed. His dedication to going above and beyond was evident in his eagerness to share fascinating insights about the kitchen, catering perfectly to my enthusiasm as a food aficionado. While the cuisine at Addison was nothing short of superb, it was Shaun's unparalleled service that elevated the entire experience to divine heights. His warm, understanding, and inviting personality made every interaction memorable. The thoughtful gesture of a sweet little treat upon departure was the cherry on top of a flawlessly coordinated dining experience. Having visited other Michelin-starred establishments, I can confidently place Addison in my top three worldwide dining experiences, largely thanks to Shaun's exceptional touch. Truly, a delightful experience in every sense.

Addison was a fun experience! I took my wife out for her birthday. We loved the food, the staff was friendly & competent, the presentation was great. We had an excellent night out.
The problem came after. Addison mistakenly charged us for a no-show cancellation for somebody else. As I sit here typing this - eight weeks, a dozen calls, and several emails later - I'm extremely disappointed in the Addison and have soured on our positive experience.
When you go to a Michelin three star restaurant you expect to spend for the experience; You generally don't walk through the door expecting to pay twice. Any institution with the reputation that Addison has should have had this resolved six weeks ago.

This was one of the best dining experiences that i've ever had. We got the luxury menu which was expensive but worth it to go all out! The dishes are masterpieces, you can tell that they were worked on for a long time and perfected. It was cool how a lot of the courses had table-side pours. "Chips and Dip" was such a fun and unique concept for a fine dining restaurant.
One of the things that made this experience even more unique was the kitchen tour, Chef Bradley was so kind and it was very cool to see the kitchen creating these incredible dishes.
The service here was insane, it's unlike anywhere else, it was like everyone knew exactly what we needed without us even asking. Every person that we interacted with was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they knew we were going to some other Michelin started restaurants in California on our trip so they told us more cool things about them and they even told the other restaurants to take good care of us, which was so kind of Addison.
This was a dining experience that I will treasure forever, it was so luxurious and I can’t recommend it enough.
My favorite courses had to be-
"Eggs on rice": The most perfect textures and flavors
White asparagus with caviar: This was one of the best white asparagus courses i've ever had and the caviar was incredible. It was so cool how chef Bradley came plated part of it tableside.
Tom Kha Goong: i've never had a course like this before, so so yummy
A5 Wagyu: The best and most tender wagyu i've ever had, the marbleization was insane, loved the tempura fried broccoli

Unprofessionally greedy
The atmosphere was neat and clean but nothing extraordinary, the service was impeccable, and then we got to the food. There were three dishes that we really liked but the rest left us wanting unsatisfied. For a more in-depth review, please read this guy’s review.
Unfortunately won’t be dining here again but appreciate the dedication of the waitstaff who were nothing short of amazing.
