You will have a hard time finding a better high end gourmet dinner in Edinburgh. From the abundant and attentive staff, the unique menu choices, and the mansion/art gallery atmosphere it would not be fair to compare this place to any other restaurant.
We were a party of 7 and we had zero complaints on any food from any course that was served.
The helpful friendly staff just adds to the overall experience.
I will absolutely go here again the next time I'm in Edinburgh.

So glad we stayed here, very much worth the price. Service was next level and the best I experienced anywhere to date. Beautiful grounds and building. We ate breakfast and dinner at the on site Rhubarb restaurant and they were both excellent meals. We also booked directly and so got a complimentary sparkling wine which was delicious and they happily opened it for us at dinner. Afternoon tea there was one of the top highlights of the entire trip. Really lovely and would return to Edingburg just to stay here again.

We had a fabulous dinner at the Prestonfield last weekend - delicious food and the building and decor of the hotel is simply fabulous. I am looking forward to a return visit when I am next in Edinburgh! Also loved the resident black cat ????‍⬛!

This is an amazing hotel. Everything about it food staff rooms in my opinion unique. Definitely be back ASAP. Wow!!

Prestonfield house, 擁有百年歷史, 正宗傳統的英式下午茶❤️

Prestonfield house這間五星級飯店原本建造於1687年, 是一個富裕的鄉村莊園( 還可看見有人在打高爾夫), 而在60年代才改建為酒店, 內部裝潢非常古典, 使用的器具也相當高雅.

英式下午茶的餐點有三盤( 一定要三盤疊起來!!), 由下往上分別是： 4種口味的三明治( 鮭魚, 蛋莎拉, 起士及火腿), 兩種手作司康佐奶酪與新鮮果醬, 加上各式小甜點, 其中有季節性口味的馬卡龍, 這次的是 winter spiced, 我非常的喜歡❤️配上從數種茶品中擇一的英國茶, 這樣的享受, 真的得親自來英國嚐嚐.

心滿意足的吃不完還能打包帶走❤️

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at the hotel last weekend & spending 2 nights there. The room was gorgeously plush, the staff were absolutely amazing - so helpful & friendly, and rhe food was really delicious. 1000%recommende the breakfasts. Really l9vely stay & highly recommend.

Terrible. Went for Champagne Afternoon tea on a Saturday. Arrived early and was put into a small room to the left and waited. Assumed this was a waiting room as we were early. A waiter finally showed up 20 minutes later and asked if we were there for the afternoon tea and then dropped two menus on the coffee table and walked away. 10 minutes later he came back and explained the menu and dietarys. We advised that we disliked 2 items, so he said these would be switched. The waiter then brought a tray and set up the coffee table for service. This was confusing as we'd booked into the restaurant, not a drawing room. The seats were uncomfortable to sit for 2 hours and the fire went out so it became cold quickly. We then got our tea, but we had to ask again for the glass of champagne, we finally got this 1 hour after arriving. When the afternoon tea food arrived, it was average at best. Definitely not worth the money. They hadn't switched the items we didn't want and some of the food was inedible. The salmon sandwich finger was good and couple of the dessert items were good. The scones were very dry and hard, they hadn't even been warmed. The carrot cake was also very dry. Once we ate we then waited for someone to come by so we could ask for the bill. No one came past again, so we got up and went to the desk to settle the bill and leave. Overall very poor, definitely not worth the £65 per person. Avoid.
