They were very welcoming, and it is a very very pleasant place to stay. Mr. Herbert James is the bell captain there, and he is absolutely something else! Every hotel should be lucky enough to have an employee like Herbert!!
Two years in a row they told us our room was ready but we get there and no room. 2 years in a row. Last year they didn't have our room ready until 5pm. Now tell me why I have to pay full price for a room I'm denied for 2 hours. I can promise you they would charge me extra if I checked out late.
Edited to add: as everyone can see their responses are canned and fake. I didn't mention anything about the cost of their rooms. Also one lady was super rude and rolled her eyes at every customer who asked her a question and as soon as they left the desk would say something rude and ignorant about the person.
Booked on the phone while I was on my way from visiting a project site. From the valet team to the front desk staff, the service was top notch. Very nice room with a great view of the Mississippi. The corporate conference room on the top floor is excellent for large meetings. Great location in the heart of the capitol city!
Sonnisha showed amazing customer service. She even remembered me from my last visit. I had a few issues with my room and she made sure that my room was cleaned immediately.
Absolutely marvelous hotel! The room was great, the view was great, the staff were all so nice and helpful! And the building itself? Beautiful space! I can't imagine staying anywhere else anytime I come through Baton Rogue!
Do not stay here!!! The clerk at check in barely looked up to say hello. This is after the “bell man” outside didn’t even open the door for us s we bright multiple bags and luggage in. Then we get into the room. Reverse this us a Hilton I was expecting a certain level of customer service, cleanliness and hospitality. Nope. Zero in all of those. Then we went to the room. DIRTY DECREPIT, old furniture w dings and dents. The bathroom was dirty! We went back to ask for another room or even to pay for an upgrade. The manager (who acted irritated to come out to speak to us) told me to cxl my reservation online and rebook it if I want another room. SERIOUSLY!?! I travel Regularly and have never been this disappointed. We ended up checking out and going to the Watermark. A MUCH nicer establishment. I will deal w getting my refund tomorrow and contacting Hilton upper management. Please don’t stay here. It’s honestly a 2 star (if that) establishment. Also, please train your staff!! My lord! A little customer service training goes a long way. Clearly this property is struggling. See my photos before you book!!
Very nice hotel. I would have given 5 stars for the room but I had no hot water in the shower. I made them aware of it and they seemed to be eager to fix it. I recommend the river view side of the hotel.
Parking was difficult and expensive. Hotel is overpriced. $24 breakfast? Ridiculous! Staff was very friendly. Lounge bar was very nice. Beds were the best!
They did not honor my reservation for a king bed because I booked through a third-party app. Ordered room service order was wrong. Room was ok but had a weird smell.
I live locally but did a stay vacation with my long time friend, who was coming in from Florida(she is a native of Louisiana).
I was totally impressed(lightly said)by the Vallet Service! These great people
are probably not recognized often! But they are usually the “1st impression” that guest experience ! Truly impressive! Manners and many smiles !! Miss Zae stood out to me because she kept her smile no matter when I saw her and she has to have amazing organizational skills because this beautiful Hilton Hotel is Super busy !!!!
Miss Zae is definitely an asset to this company!!!

Check in to check out all the employees were THE BEST !!!!!
Had to circle the building for about 45 minutes just to get to the one valet spot everyone else was battling for, only to find my river view room that i paid extra for doesn’t face the river. Called the front desk and got an attitude.
Edit: door doesn’t lock and don’t expect a warm shower.
Pretty nice hotel in a great part of BR. We enjoyed our stay; My only gripe is that not all of the toiletries had been refilled in our room, which shouldn't happen for the price of a room. Other than that, no complaints.
My check in was very pleasant Sonnisha at the front desk was very helpful provided good accommodations and suggestions for our stay valet parking was a major win for making our stay even sweeter very ????
It’s hard to believe that they fly the Hilton flag here. If this was a Hampton Inn, it would be a more appropriate brand… except this still wouldn’t be one of the nicer Hampton Inns to stay in. So much potential, and staff was friendly. They need to address the rooms, bathrooms and even the appearance of the elevators. Would love to see them fix these issues and earn that Hilton flag.
