We stayed here 3 nights during a business trip. The room was very comfortable with good internet for working. We loved the full breakfast and hospitality from the inn keeper, Nicole! We enjoyed being able to walk a few blocks into downtown. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay in the Abbeville area! Nicole was an amazing and extremely responsive host! She also cooks a delicious breakfast! We'll definitely stay again if we're in the Abbeville area!!!

Excellent accommodations and staff. Nichol was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was top notch. Loved the ventage house and courtyard. We will definitely be returning. The home may be having a new owner. I hope that they don't try to "improve it" it, and end up making degrading the accommodations and hospitality.

The stay is great, and so are the people that run it-let me explain: we recently stayed here, and we are from “above I-10”, lol (didn’t really know the area). We book last minute, and the wife and I want to get away for the weekend. We arrive, and there’s no one there. Something messed up with the computer system and calendar notifications (no fault of the management, it happens). We call the number, and we got a quick response about the mix up and someone would be there shortly. Indeed someone showed up quickly and that’s when we knew we had booked the right place to get away. The person that showed up was beyond helpful, and at the same time the owner was messaging us making sure everything was perfect. This type of understanding and help is what is important to us. The fact that there was a computer issue and slight delay was not important. The owner and the person showing us around were there for us. They both recommended places to eat, places to see while we were in the area, etc. Gave us there numbers if we needed anything. It felt like home to us because of this. Just genuine, good hearted people. The place is beautiful, and the people in the area that we met are so friendly. I highly recommend, and the wife and I will be back to stay at some point in the future.

Love this place every year when we stay. The staff is impeccable and accommodations are fresh and relaxing. I always look forward to staying at the Caldwell House
